This is a really enjoyable fed you have going Troy. It's like old school shows with four bouts on a card. Frank Gotch is looking really strong on top.

Thank you. Old school was one of the inspirations as well as stuff Stu and Pariah had done. It's so fun to just do a few quick matches and a bit of writing.

In the World Title match, Frank Gotch put away Nikolai Volkoff with a reverse pin after Volkoff's flying splash missed allowing Gotch to cover for the three count. Volkoff got a bit desperate as he was doing well until that point but knew Gotch would be tough. He climbed up and dived off only for Gotch to roll out of the way and then grabbed both legs and bridged over for a pin.
In the World Tag Title Match Monster Mafia bested The American Males following a double team body slam before Monsoon covered Bagwell for the three count. The Males were starting to roll but after Bagwell somehow hit the Yellow Jacket Suplex, Albano caused a ruckus getting Riggs into the ring and allowing the Monster Mafia to do their thing to win.
Dan Severn bested Abdullah the Butcher via disqualification when the referee tired of Abdullah smashing Severn with the ringside stairs. This could have gone either way and nearly did a few times before Abdullah's temper went awry and the referee called for the bell.
AJ Styles bested Great Gama who challenged him for the chance to battle Frank Gotch on the next show. This was a wild battle but Styles kept his composure as he avoided the Gama Throw, locked in the Calf Killer and then hit the Styles Clash. Gama raised his shoulder one moment too late and Styles won. Styles said he wanted a match with modern rules which Gotch agreed but only if it was an I Quit Match. Styles agreed to the proposition.

Thoroughly enjoyed that exchange between the Phenomenal One and the Great One - a dream match if ever one existed, imo. Which leads to Styles challenging Gotch for the title in an I Quit match... Styles will show the audience why HE is the Best in the World!  The Experimental Theater is destined to become the House That AJ Built! |

The Patriot took down Larry Hennig with a clothesline. This turned out to be a battle of them. Hennig hit two Axes but could not keep Patriot down and Patriot made a comeback before hitting his own clothesline for the three count.
Dynamite Kid bested Petey Williams with the Diving Headbutt. Williams gave it a go but a Tombstone and a pair of Diving Headbutts proved to be too much. Williams tried to get his foot on the rope but could not do it before the referee counted three.
The Monster Mafia and The British Bulldogs battled to a double disqualification when Killer Kowalski and Roddy Piper got involved. This was a crazy battle and it looked like the Bulldogs were going to win the belts when Kowalski jumped on to the apron. Piper pulled him down and then referee Joey Marella lost control as everyone brawled with everyone else forcing him to call for the bell.
Frank Gotch bested AJ Styles via disqualification in an I Quit match when Styles assaulted the referee when he tried to break up a brawl on the floor. Styles was frustrated as he felt like Gotch was toying with him. As Gotch tried to help the referee Styles attacked him and Vampiro joined him. They were really putting it to him when Jack Brisco appeared and made the rescue. An angry Gotch said tag team battle and if Styles can pin him, he'll give him the World Title.
