Impressive run by the Bees in that top contender tourney... And they really gave the ME a run for their money, but couldn't quite come up with the gold.
Gotch continues to dominate... And of course, I'm stoked the alliance between AJ and Vampiro is still grabbing headlines... PHENOMENAL!

The Rock and Roll Express clobbered The Long Riders following a slingshot stomp on Bill Irwin. Scott never even managed to get into the ring as the Express quickly took down Bill and then Robert covered him for a pin.
Vampiro squashed Diamond Dallas Page with Nail in the Coffin. This was basically all Vampiro after he reversed off the ropes with a flying tackle. From there he battered down Page with a series of jumping kicks and then bounced off the ropes with a big lariat before Nail in the Coffin finished things off.
Midnight Express held off The British Bulldogs with a Double Goozle on Dynamite Kid. This went back and forth for a while until Eaton whipped Dynamite into Davey Boy Smith and as Kid staggered, Eaton and Condrey hit the Double Goozle. Smith was too dizzy to make a pin save and Condrey got the pin.
Harley Race put away Frank Gotch with the Piledriver. It was a back and forth match but late in the match, Race hit a big lariat out of the corner and then the Piledriver to win the World Belt. As Race raised his hands with the belt, AJ Styles attacked and assaulted Race before laying him out with a Styles Clash on the belt. "This is mine, no one else's." Styles spat before leaving the ring with the title.

I'm continuing to enjoy your fed TTX. Nice tournament win for the Killer Bees, especially after their major upset win over the Road Warriors.

Rock Riddle held off Ric McCord with a pair of Boston Crabs. McCord dominated a lot of the match and hit three Flying Body Presses but he could not keep Riddle down. Riddle made a comeback and locked in one Boston Crab. McCord grabbed the ropes but Riddle simply broke and clamped it on again. This time McCord was forced to tap.
Nachomania runs wild when Nacho Barrera bested George South with a spinning body slam into a pin when South's flying cross body was reversed. This went back and forth and both had nearfalls but in the end, Barrera was luckier and got the pin and the crowd chanting.
The British Bulldogs easily won the battle of the dogs over The Underdogs when they quickly put away Milliman with the Tower of London. Poor Kenny Jay never saw the ring as the Bulldogs used a quick suplex, a flying tackle from Dynamite and then the Tower of London. Milkman was down and Jay was too shocked to react.
AJ Styles finally completed his quest defeating Harley Race with a discus lariat to win the World title. This went back and forth until Styles got on a roll. Race survived the Styles Clash but Styles managed two Calf Killers to further weaken Race. Late in the match Styles countered a Race punch to the face with the discus lariat to win.

The last two cards were a Pariah's Paradise, my friend... Although I'm a big DDP fan, I'm still stoked that Vampiro dropped a NAIL IN THE COFFIN... The BANG you heard was the lid slamming shut! HA!
Of course, it's always cool to see NACHOMANIA running wild... And oh, yeah... In case somebody missed it... The ETW is now AJ's house! PHENOMENAL!

Always great to see Party Marty in action... And picking up the win with a Rocker Dropper, no less... EXCELLENT! * Followed by a wicked Winter & Reeves worthy air guitar solo!

The Fantastics overcame the Powers of Pain when Fulton pinned Barbarian after the Fantastic Flip. This was a great back and forth match where Rogers missed a dive to the floor but caught Barbarian's foot as he tried to get back into the ring and slammed his face into the mat. From there, he tagged in Fulton and delivered the Fantastic Flip for the three count.
Jack Brisco came back to best Ted DiBiase (BG) with the Figure Four Leglock. DiBiase managed two shots with the black glove but in the end, Brisco made a comeback and clamped on the Figure Four Leglock to win.
The Midnight Express edged The Valentines when Condrey pinned Johnny after a shoulder power slam. It looked like the Valentines were going to grab the belts but Eaton survived. Condrey made a comeback but Johnny nearly pulled a win with a rollup only for Cornette to smash him with the tennis racket. From there, Condrey slammed him for the pin.
Vampiro defeated World champion AJ Styles via disqualification when The Japan Alliance attacked Vampiro after a Nail in the Coffin on Styles. Hansen, Gordy, Williams and Brody suddenly jumped and attacked Vampiro bringing an end to History's Greatest Team.

Looks like my Vampire brother has picked up quite a crew of potent enemies... And with the HGT no more, I wonder who will watch his back... Yikes!

I think there might be some blood friends that Vampiro could tap to assist. We'll just have to find out.
