MASSIVE THINGS FOR MASSIF Analysis by Morpheus
Big men come and go in our sport. Most are very one dimensional. Big... strong... slow... limited. But, the Federation Defense Fighters blue chip rookie is not one of those typical big men. Massif has looked mighty impressive on GWF Action, undefeated, but untested really. The first true test was at January's Perennial against the incomparable Thantos. I doubt anyone with any wrestling IQ at all thought Massif would win, but hanging toe-to-toe with the Gamemaster for 10 minutes plus is an impressive feat when you've only had four matches under your belt as a professional. The next night against Krakan was nothing less than a statement. Krakan's excuses be damned, Massif beat him in short order. That's a good weekend.
At Quantum Encounter, Massif continued his win streak. He beat Vanity in a hard fought match. While Vanity isn't on the level of Thantos or Krakan, he's still an experienced wrestler and no easy opponent. Massif's shown tools that are rarely seen in a fighter his size. Physically, he's not just strong and big. He is also deceptively agile and quick for a man his size. His technical know-how is also impressive, after all, he fought off Thantos' Masterlock twice at The Perennial before submitting to it when it was finally applied. Size... strength... speed... agility... AND ring IQ. I see some big things for the big man, maybe sooner, maybe later, but for certain.

This is my favorite fed right now on the boards. You're doing great stuff. Love how clean and clear your results are.
Also love your show logos! What are you using to create those? Photoshop? They're great.

They're great. Thanks for the kind words! I'm a fan of your YouTube channel and I often have it in the background as I play and work on belts and logos. As for the logos, it's mostly Photoshop Elements, though I occasionally do some minor tweaks on belts and such in MS Paint before I add effects and color.

Excerpt from HVSN OnlineTOP THREE TAKES ON GWF HYPERFIGHTby James Bryant, Staff Writer 3) GLADIATORS RETAIN IN HARD-FOUGHT BOUT
Brute and Massacre are still the Galaxian Tag Team Champions, but boy was it close! Omega and Commander Sam took the Glads to school for more than 25 minutes and had them in trouble more than once. While physically the Aethrans were more than a match, the FDF's experience and the Gladiators arrogance nearly cost them their titles. If the Champs plan to stay the Champs, they need to stop underestimating the competition.
2) MASSIF IS FOR REAL
Morpheus knows talent and he's heaped praises on the big man Massif. Fans have wondered. I no longer do. He's hung with Thantos competitively, absolutely trounced Krakan, handily defeated Vanity, and now... now he's put down the wild man Wolf in three minutes. "Massive Things for Massif" might be an understatement. A shot at Galaxian gold has to be in his future, it's just a matter of when.
1) THANTOS WINS; BUT IS NEXUS A FLUKE?
The Evil Gamemaster got the duke and captured wrestling's richest prize in the Titan Sportatorium on March 30th... and that didn't surprise anyone. Odds makers from Las Vegas to Rigel had him anywhere from a 2-1 to a 5-1 favorite over the then reigning champion Lord Nexus. That said, it was no walk in the park for Thantos. Over 13 minutes of back and forth action saw Lord Nexus make a good showing for himself, to be sure, but fans are talking and wondering did he have Wolf's number and no one else's when it comes to the big fight. I don't think that's the case, but Lord Nexus himself could quiet the critics at GWF's Leader of the Pack supercard in just a few weeks.

Andromeda – 30 March 2087We are happy and proud to announce that the GWF has entered into an agreement with the Andromeda Planetary Athletic Commission to be an official part of the historic Leader of the Pack Festival. Our April 27th pay-per-view supercard, named for the festival, will host the inaugural Lion's Trophy Tournament. This tournament will be a four-man round robin affair and the competitors have been selected by a consensus of both our Board of Directors and the Planetary Athletic Commission. The four selected competitors are Vanity, Invincible Krakan, Exo-King, and Wolf. The winner of the Lion's Trophy will receive a Galaxian Heavyweight Championship match at May's Cosmic Combat supercard.
We, at the GWF, would like to extend our profound appreciation to the people of Andromeda and their Athletic Commission for allowing us to be a part of this annual planetary tradition and wish the best of luck to the competitors in the Lion's Trophy Tournament at GWF Leader of the Pack.
Best Regards, Zachary Carter President, GWF

Excerpt from Inside Wrestling from June 2087 WOLF WINS LION'S TROPHY; WAS MASSIF SNUBBED?
by Cornelius Last, Staff Writer On April 27th, Wolf captured the Lion's Trophy at the GWF's landmark event Leader of the Pack. He fought four times in one night and won three matches to win the honor and a shot at the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship at GWF's upcoming supercard Cosmic Combat. The wild man defeated Vanity and beat Exo-King twice in impressive fashion, losing only to Invincible Krakan in a 10-minute slugfest. It was an impressive night and performance by the Andromedan native, but there is an honestly undeserved question hanging over the night. Was the odds-on favorite not even selected?
Many fans feel that Massif deserved to be in the tournament. His wins over three of the four selected competitors, including the eventual winner, would seem to lend credibility to that. However, the big man himself isn't bothered. According to Massif...
"Yeah, I've been fortunate enough to score some big wins, but Wolf, Krakan, Exo-King, and Vanity are all deserving competitors. They have track records that I don't. I would have loved to have been in the tournament and see how I stacked up having to wrestle multiple times in one night, but I wasn't. I don't think it was a snub or anything like that. But, I can tell you this... I'll keep plugging away, fighting, and doing my best. If there's a shot in my future, I'll be ready and I'll have earned it."

Excerpt from HVSN OnlineIF NOT NOW, THEN WHENby James Bryant, Staff Writer GWF's Cosmic Combat is in the books and there's a question hanging in the air. If not now, then when for Massif? In just five months, Massif has racked up a list of wins that's impressive to say the absolute least. His wins over Krakan, Wolf, and Vanity are well documented. His impressive showings on the GWF Action each week have been seen by millions. Fans have argued that Massif should have been in the Lion's Trophy Tournament, especially when he had wins over three of the four competitors. A true class act, Massif has made no such claims and even made it clear that he thought all those in the tournament deserved selection ahead of him.
Then, Cosmic Combat happened. Wolf, the winner of the Lion's Trophy, was defeated in a short yet brutal and competitive match for the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship against Thantos. In an nearly equally short, brutal, and competitive bout, Massif pinned the first man to hold the Galaxian Heavyweight Title, Lord Nexus.
At this point, the big man has defeated three men selected for a prestigious tournament, pinned the former champion, and was highly competitive in his first pay-per-view match against who is now the current champion. With the Galaxian Heavyweight Title shot as the GWF's next supercard Call to Conquest still up in the air, the question needs to be answered. If not now, then when.
