I was able to download this episode on my phone (thanks again to everyone here who gave me instructions on how to do that a couple of weekends ago before I flew out to Atlantic City) and listened to it last night on my flight to Seattle. The timing worked out perfectly as the show ended right as the plane was pulling up to the gate in Seattle.
I enjoyed hearing Tom as a guest on Roll Up. Back in 2018 I went to Phoenix to help Tom sell the game at a convention which I would be willing to do again if Tom wanted as Arizona is right next door to Nevada.
I got the news on Monday that the Impact Pro set was being delayed which I was not too surprised to hear as only a couple of names had been finalized (so far I got the stats done for 1 name and mostly done for the other name.) I definitely look forward to working on this set again next year.
I enjoyed hearing Tom talk about the previous Galacticons and I look forward to the upcoming Roll Ups about the past Galacticons. Next month will be the 6th Galacticon I have attended in person (plus the virtual one last year.)

I'm going for my national boards this year, and if I pass - I may not need (or want, with the increased tax burden) to teach summer school in 2023. We'll have to see, but if the guys aren't fooling, and we actually get a Chicago GCON next year I'm going to do the double dip thing, and hit both Galacticon and T&T Induction weekend!

Great podcast! Here's my takeaways:
1-Student with the Wolf t-shirt: Yes, a small world indeed;
2-Killing Machine reveal: I used to have the GWF Promoter issue that reported this. I wish I had been there at GalactiCon for that reveal, haha;
3-Greg Valentine: Great to hear he apoligized for the no-show! I'm glad all is forgiven;
4-Darryl Banks: That new artwork is fantastic, love it;
5-Sloppy Joes: Yum! And brownies? I need to go to a G-Con some time to get some, for sure;
6-Hacksaw Jim Duggan: Duggan always seemed like a nice guy, I'm glad he's in the game. It'd be fun to play against him. Monopoly story was hilarious;
7-Bret Hart: "The best there was" in LoW? Wow, that would be amazing;
8-DDP Secret: Great story;
9-Milking "The End": I'm sure we all are glad that CotG has continued, funny it was milked and I can imagine the scene, haha;
10-"The Big Reveal": Okay, let me guess - A certain legendary "someone" returns to action? Hmmm, we shall see..
As for the rest of my checklist that I had posted, it's all checked already, including video game footage on my Youtube page and proof on my DeviantArt page, yay!
Have a great weekend, everybody!

Mind, we haven't had sloppy joes and brownies since the Jamestown days when Leslie lived there.

I have enjoyed listening to the Roll Up podcast, usually when I'm rolling the dice! This episode on the GCON memories was great. I have sadly never been to one but I will be there virtually for legends this year.
I loved the Bret Hart story and the story on Gorgeous George's daughter was great. It must be satisfying to know that someone is thrilled at being asked to be in the game.

It must be satisfying to know that someone is thrilled at being asked to be in the game. cruefan68, I'd love to know if we've gone back to Hart since that fateful day. With the WWE Network moving to Peacock, and losing its interface that made it so palatable, I wonder if Hart is concerned that fans today might not even recognize how great he was. That's the part that is shocking to me - the history is in danger of being lost forever, this is a great way to spark that interest. We've seen it with the addition of the last two names in the T&T set. To non-historians like myself, if a wrestler had a biography or autobiography I probably purchased it (best and most rare - Paul Boesch's autobiography and Rocky Johnson's Autobiography, as well as a hardcover J. J. Dillion autobiography), Curtis and Backlund are mysteries. That's why it seems so important to me to get the Funks in the game, a lot of people recognize Terry Funk as the hardcore legend, catching on fire in a bingo hall in Philadelphia. Me, I remember him as the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and a technological marvel that rivaled Jack Brisco.
