They added a recent NJPW Strong match between Josh Alexander and Alex Coughlin. A really good match. It was wild hearing Kevin Kelly do the play by play for a match with Josh. I think the match was a good idea. It exposed Josh to new fans and now exposes Impact fans to NJPW. Hopefully they can do more like this in the future.
I've also explored some of the other things on the site. Wrestling from St. Louis market. Mostly late 70s but had some from 60s. Black and White and involved Johnny Valentine and Pat O'Connor. That was wild as the male fans were in suits and everyone sitting at long dinner tables. I'm thinking the show might have been after dinner. Also Pat showed how he applied some holds on the announcer. The announcer plugged the beer sponsor during the matches.

TNA has had some low points of course thru the years. Most would say they involved Dixie, Hogan or Claire. But for me it was early 2006 which is when I'm watching currently. I swear there must have been some good drugs in the writers room to come up with some of this.
1) Sting returned as he was officially announced after midnight on NYE but had been hinted at for awhile. He returned at Final Resolution and the graphic for his tag match with Christian showed a scorpion. You would think due to Sting revealing a new look but nope. So I have no idea why they didn't show his pic. Also they kept acting like this was his first return to wrestling in five years since WCW was bought. How they forgot he had been in TNA before not once but twice is beyond me.
2) Speaking of Final Resolution it involved the most stupid ending to a match, EVER. Team 3D beat AMW for the NWA Tag titles as the ref, still blinded by powder in the eyes, counted three. After the bell Team Canada came in and attacked 3D as the ref tried to clear his eyes. Canada rolled AMW on top of 3D. The ref grabbed a title belt, raised the hand of the man on top and handed him the belt. So AMW retained. What crap! That would be like if someone handed the Lombardi trophy to Mahomes by mistake after the SB ended so the NFL declared KC the winner instead of Tampa.
To continue the stupidity I know what is coming next. I remember when it happens and it still bugs me. 3D have to decide to have a match with AMW for the titles or Team Canada for payback. Not only do the morons not pick they leave it to the fans who "pick", I'm sure it was predetermined, Canada. I mean come on. You face AMW, win the belts you claim you want so bad and then you don't have to chase Canada. They will come for you.

The Impact Plus special Homecoming was a total blast. A real fun and entertaining show. The Drama King made his in ring debut. I realized he was Deonna's partner a few moments before it happened. The big shocker was the appearance of Missy Hyatt. I was happy to see her even if she is showing her age. While she has had her issues outside of the ring she has a rich history in the business and was once one of the hottest, literally as will as figuratively, people in wrestling. The crowd was hot and had some funny chants. It is well worth a watch. It felt to me like a nice mix of big promotion product with indie product.

Emergence was a decent show. Nothing special with the exception of the match between Josh Alexander and Jake Something. That match has MOTY potential. If you have not seen it I would suggest seeing if you can watch it somewhere because it was INTENSE. Both men showed they are top talent. Kudos to the fans for the "that was Something" chants. Because last night Something was synonyms with awesome.

I am currently up to 2007 and I forgot how cringe worthy some of the bits were. Also how creative had lack of direction in some ways for some people. Some good stuff going on, especially Angle vs Joe, but a lot that falls short.

I had a feeling that the episodes of Impact on Plus were edited slightly and it was finally confirmed. I was watching one episode and they showed what happened on the last episode, one I had just finished watching, and the segment was not shown in the actual episode. Still enjoying watching the old stuff, for the most part, but kind of a bummer.

I wrapped up watching the 2007 year. As I stated before the negatives include some cringe worthy moments. Also booking refs to look like morons. Some stories that seemed to go nowhere although injuries did play a part of that. Some story lines were rushed and/or forgotten. Others were dragged on a bit too long. But MAN, there was a lot of great stuff in 07.
- The KO title was created. The division was also officially made. We saw debuts of Awesome Kong, Angel Williams/Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, Voodoo Queen and ODB. Plus the early stages of the Beautiful People.
- The Motorcity Machine Guns were formed and started wowing the fans.
- The first official Turkey Bowl on the Thanksgiving show.
- The first Feast or Fired match and all the fallout.
- The debut of Booker T or Booker TNA if you will.
Sadly I am not sure if I want to go on watching. There are only a few Impacts in the beginning of 08 loaded up then nothing till 15. They do have all the PPVs but I was enjoying watching it in order as things happened. Even with missing segments and a few Impacts.

The KO Knockdown Impact+ special was so amazing and emotional. I laughed, I cried, I was full of joy and inspiration. It was a magical show. Such great tributes to Daffney. Awesome Kong being announced for the HOF. Plus all the great matches. I wish Lady Frost could have won one match or at least be allowed to do one of her amazing moves off the top rope. Mercedes Martinez winning the tournament was incredible. I hope this means we see her on Impact some. Monster's Ball had some sick spots. I just wish some new tag team had came out at the end of the main event to challenge Decay. Especially with the sloppy end of the match. But speaking of new tag teams it seems the IIconics are finally coming to Impact and will be at BFG under the name IInspiration. Great signing.

Ugh. I recently watched the first Impact of 08 then the PPV that came after it. Tonight I went to watch the Impact after the PPV and during the opening recap I did not recognize any of it. That is when I realized the 2nd Impact under 08 banner on the site was a month later. A lot happened in that month that isn't loaded up.
- X title and KO title changed hands
- Awesome Kong got her manager
- After leaving Samoa Joe during their tag match at the PPV Kevin Nash was back with Joe
- Roode fired Traci, hired Ms Banks and Ms Banks died her hair to look like Traci
- Father Mitchel finally revealed he is Abyss's father
- Curry Man debuted and Shark Boy started his SCSA bit
- Bullet Bob returned and is prepared to tag with his son BG for the tag titles
I think I will just skip to 2015 and wait for them to finally work things out to get the rest
