(CARD 1)

Show opens with an aerial shots of flying over the Missouri River, Omaha and then over the cornfields. As the shot crests a large hill, we get the first shot of a large imposing building in the middle of an acreage. As the drone crashes into the building, four words take over the screen.
WELCOME TO THE TEMPLE!

Camera’s pan the voracious crowd, chanting H-C-W! H-C-W!

“Welcome, believers to my temple! My name is Dario Cuerto and I am the proprietor of Heartland Championship Wrestling and this beautiful temple.
Tonight we start the pilgrimage to greatness. Our temple doors are open to any competitor that thinks he has the moxy to excel in the ring. Each week our wrestlers will have “unique opportunities” to climb that stairway to greatness …. and the HCW Championships.
All I ask of them is to bring the violence and the desire to reach out and grab that golden ring!
Tonight, we start the quest for the HWC gold. Now, if the Melissa Santos will call our first competitors to the ring, I must excuse myself to take care of business!

“The Bass God” Gringo Loco vs Jacob Fatu
If the first match of HCW is any indicator of what is to come, We are in for something special. Loco showed no fear going up against the Samoan monster. They traded blows back and forth with Loco getting a few quick pin-fall attempts in early. Fatu’s frustrations mounted and the match was then taken to the floor where the two men brawled all over the Temple. The end came when Fatu powerbombed Loco through the announcer’s table.
WINNER BY COUNT OUT: JACOB FATU

6-Man tag team match: Jay white & Undisputed Era vs PCO & Briscoe Brothers
Little preview match of what is coming up on our next card. Match started off slow with all participants tagging in and showing off what they bring to the table. The end came when PCO ‘crashed and burned’ after a missed senton from the top rope and Jay White hit ‘switchblade” for the 1-2-3.
WINNERS BY PIN-FALL: Jay White & Undisputed Era.

“The Belt Collector” Kenny Omega vs Beer City Bruiser
Very one sided affair. Omega was just two quick for the Bruiser, putting him away with ‘One Winged Angel’.
WINNER BY PIN-FALL: KENNY OMEGA

Omega arrogantly walked to the back, but stopped and made a beeline for Darrio’s office.
KENNY OMEGA (pushing one of Cuerto’s men through the door) El Jeffe, hope I am not intruding, but as you just saw, I am YOUR superstar.
DARRIO: Please, come in … unannounced … interrupting me.
KO: There is one spot left in the tag team tournament. I want it.
DC: Kenny, but you are in the tournament for the heavyweight championship?
KO: I am the belt collector. Everywhere I go, I win championships.
DC: That is why I brought you here to my Temple. Only the best can perform here.
KO: I will be YOUR champion. I want both belts.
DC: Well then, I guess I will have to give you a unique opportunity. I am going to give you that spot. However, I am going to choose your partner.
KO: I don’t think so.
DC: Don’t interrupt me again! You will form a team with your fellow countryman … “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin. You are a superstar and deserve a partner of equal talent. You will be MY team. The ‘Alpha and Omega’ of the tag team world, if you will.
KO: Do I have a choice?
DC: NO! Since I am being so generous with you; pairing you with a great partner. This is a very unique opportunity for you. When I call in my favor, I’ll let you know.
KO: Nobody controls me!
DC: Get out of here before I change my mind.
KO: (Staring at Darrio)
DC: I didn’t stutter. Now if you will excuse me, I need to take this call. (picking up the phone) Hola.

Back to ringside with Vampiro and Matt Striker
MS: Vamp, did you believe what we just saw there. Our proprietor just made a team and put them in the tournament.
V: This is getting gnarly. But what is the price Omega is going to pay for making a deal with the boss .. el jeffe.
MS: It is time for the championship tournaments to start. There are some interesting match ups on the singles side.
V: In round one we have these match ups:

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE: Young Bucks vs Rush & Bandido
Spectacular match with a ton of high spots. The crowd was deafening as they shook the rafters cheering and jeering the participants. Rush clobbered Matt Jackson with a chair and followed it up with ‘Rush Driver’. As the referee about hit the mat for a third time, Nick made the save and a wild brawl broke out. The Bucks won the brawl and hit ‘Indytaker’ on Bandido to get the victory.
WINNERS: YOUNG BUCKS

HCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE:
Michael Elgin vs Killer Kross
Unbridled violence. These two men brutalized each other inside the ring, and out.
12 tokens had been handed out when Elgin nailed Kross with a spinning backfist for the win.
WINNER: “UNBREAKABLE” MICHAEL ELGIN

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE:
Powers of Pain vs Mustache Mountain
In three moves, Tent Seven hit his lariat on Barbarian and made a cover. From there is was just four men showing off their power. After several minutes, Catarina came down to the ring and began directing the Warlord and Barbarian. Warlord power slammed Seven and Barbarian drilled him with his flying headbutt for the 1-2-3.
WINNERS: POWERS OF PAIN.

****MAIN EVENT****
HCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE:
Walter vs Aleister Black
During the introductions, Black grabbed the microphone from Santos.
BLACK: I am the leader of the darkness that fills this Temple. I am hatred. I am sorrow. I am war! Walter, you are a man who loves a good fight, what do you say that we make our match a NO DQ match! Let the believers revel in our bloodshed. Send a message to the locker room that we are the most dangerous men in the world of wrestling.
WALTER: Aliester, I have know you for years. We have waged wars in rings just like this all across Europe. I –
CUETO: Wait just one minute. (exiting his office) I am el jeffe ...THE BOSS. I decide the types of matches. You two want to wage war!?!? Then war you shall have … only your match will be a BELIEVERS WITH A STRAP MATCH! (several masked men began handing straps to those in the front row) Every time you two leave the ring, my believers, you may strike these men with your straps!!!!
The match of the night. They showed why these two men were the favorites to win this tournament. Black with his martial arts strikes and kicks. Walter with his brute power. Both men were covered in welts from the whippings they took from the believers. With each strike the crowd became hotter and hotter; calling for blood to be spilled.
The pin came when Walter power bombed Black in the middle of the ring.

Alester Black vs Mr. X
As the bell rang, Black KO’d X with ‘Black Mass”

BLACK: The Temple is a dark, violent place. Last week, Walter knocked me out of the heavyweight championship tournament. That is not where my story ends. It is where my story begins. (Points to Mr. X laying in the ring) One kick …. The Black Mass …. is the difference. Mr. Cueto, I know you are watching, I am calling first shot at the winner of this tournament. Hear my words …. for deep with in the darkness, for which you call Hell … is MY world.

Bandido vs El Mariachi Loco
The two masked luchadores put on a solid expedition. Loco took the early offensive, but it was short lived after a missed shooting star press from the top rope. Bandido pinned El Mariachi Loco after a top rope Spanish Fly.
After the bell, Rush hit the ring and they brutally double teamed Loco until the Young Bucks hit the ring for the save. The luchadores escape the ring and were backing their way from the ring, towards Dario’s office. The four men are jawing back and forth when Dario opens his door and is standing behind Bandido and Rush.

DARIO: Well … Well … Well …. Violence is the foundation of my Temple. Rush, Bandito, you have shown to be worthy participants in my ring. I look forward to see what you two luchadores bring to my temple

6-Man Tag Team – PCO and Powers of Pain vs Young Bucks & Jacob Fatu
Nice preview of our next show. All participants won their first round matches on last show.
The Young Bucks hit “Indytaker” on Barbarian for the win.
WINNERS: YOUNG BUCKS & JACOB FATU

HCW TITLE TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE: RUSH vs JAY WHITE
Rush pinned White after a chair shot and “Rush Driver”
WINNER: RUSH

RUSH: Los Intolerable de la Heartland is here! (Bandido come to the ring and joins him) We were born on the streets of Mexico City! We were nurtured by violence. We were coddled by hatred. The only people we could count on were ourselves. LIH is here and we are claiming the Temple as ours. Tithe to LIH, or suffer the way of a street rat.



HCW TAG TITLE TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE:
UNDISPUTED ERA vs KILLER KROSS & BEER CITY BRAWLER
Incredibly violent. UE hit a third ‘Chasing the Dragon’ on the Brawler when Kross made the save. A wild brawl broke out and the referee called for the bell.
DOUBLE DQ! BOTH TEAMS ELIMINATED FROM TAG TOURNAMENT

HCW TITLE TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE
MIL MURTESS VS BRAY WYATT
The “Man of 1000 Deaths” mad quick work of Wyatt, pining him after a trident and flatliner.
WINNER: MIL MEURTES

The undisputed era barge into Dario Cueto’soffice. They were furious at the outcome of their match.
O’REILLY: Dario! This is (($&()#$%! You are giving the Powers of Pain a free pass to the finals?!?!
FISH: Those two muscle heads have no business even being in the tournament.
CUETO Gentlemen. My referees are the law inside that ring and inside my temple. Believe me, your match was brutal. It was hard hitting. It was exactly what I expect from my luchadores
O’REILLY: So you are putting us back in, right?
CUETO NO! You don’t make demands to me. Next week, the four of you can have a rematch. Just to be sure that we have a victor, it will be a NO DQ match!
FISH: So, we win … we are back in?!?
CUETO We’ll see. Now gentlemen. I have business to take care of. The door is right there.

****MAIN EVENT**** HCW TAG TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE
KENNY OMEGA & MICHAEL ELGIN vs BRISCOE BROTHERS
Omega and Elgin looked like a well oiled team, going toe to toe with the brothers from Delaware. Omega pinned Jay Briscoe after “Croyts Wrath”.
WINNERS: ALPHA & OMEGA

Outside of the arena, Kenny Omega is exiting his car when two large men in masks approach.
OMEGA: Sorry guys, no autographs.
#1: Mr. Omega, El Hefe wishes your audience.
OMEGA: Do I have a choice?
#2: No really. Now if you please, El Jefe does not like to be kept waiting.
OMEGA: (sighs and rolls his eyes) Alright. (hands his bag to #2) lead the way. The least you can do is carry the champ’s bag.

HANDICAP MATCH – MIL MEURTES vs TIM POWERS & JIMMY KEYS
Mil destroyed Powers and Keys. After pinning Keys with a flatliner, he would not let the referee call for the bell. He demanded that Powers come in the ring. Three moves later, he pins Powers after flatliner.
After the bell, Catarina slid into the ring and gave both men the “kiss of death”

MUSTACHE MOUNTAIN vs BRISCOE BROTHERS
The British duo was just too much for the chicken farmers from Delaware. Tyler Bates pinned Mark after an airplane spin.
WINNERS MUSTACHE MOUNTAIN

Inside of Cueto’s office.
CUETO: Thank you for coming Mr. Omega.
OMEGA: Like I had a choice. Your goons made it crystal clear that I didn’t have a choice in the matter.
CUETO: We all have choices. Those choices have consequences. You asked to be in both championship tournaments. I agreed. You went out with your tag partner, Michael Elgin and won.
OMEGA: What did you expect?!? I am the five-star match maker. I am the ELITE ONE among your Lucha-dorks.
CUETO: I love your confidence. I agree that it was THE best decision for business. After all, we are all businessmen. Now, the bad news. We have a schedule to keep.. You will be doing double duty tonight. You have a mach with LIH’s BANDIDO coming up and then in tonight’s main event you and Michael Elgin will face off with the Young Bucks.
OMEGA: You have got to be kidding me. You want me to wrestle in two importan matches in one night?
CUETO: I asked you if you were up to the challenge and that what you wan ted did come with a price. Now, you better get ready for your matches. You are up after the ‘Ring General”’




WALTER vs GRINGO LOCO
Walter manhandled the “Bass God’ in their match. He was just too powerful and never gave Gringo any offense. He pinned him after two power bombs.
WINNER: WALTER
HCW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE: KENNY OMEGA vs BANDIDO
Tons of back and forth action. Just before time ran out, Omega hit ‘Croyt’s Wrath” for the 1- 2-3!
WINNER: KENNY OMEGA

HCW CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE: JACOB FATU vs PCO
Brutality. Plan and simple, Brutality. The Samoan Warewold and Dr. Frankenstein’s favorite wrestler went head to head pounding each other with high impact moves.
A package piledriver and a PCOsault put Fatu away.
WINNER: PCO

RE-MATCH – NO DQ – UNDISPUTED ERA vs KILLER KROSS & BEER CITY BRAWLER
Just as hard hitting as their first match. Brawling of Kross and the Beer City Brawler and the martial arts strikes of Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly.
Brawler whipped O’Reilly into the corner and went for a body avalanche! HE MISSES!! O’Reilly quickly rolls him up. 1 - 2- 3!
WINNERS: UNDISPUTED ERA

DARIO CEUTO:(coming out of his office) Tremendous match! Bravo gentlemen. Undisputed Era, even with your performance tonight, I can’t let you back into the tag team championship tournament. It hurts met to say this, but, It is just business. (he goes back into his office and shuts the door.)

****MAIN EVENT**** HCW TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT – ROUND ONE
YOUNG BUCKS vs ALPHA & OMEGA (KENNY OMEGA & MICHAEL ELGIN)
All four men came to compete tonight. The double teaming of the Jackson brothers, kept the match close. Omega and Elgin countered with their power.
Elgin was kicked out of ‘more bang for your buck” and “indytaker” before making a defensive tag. The crowd erupted and Omega got into the ring. He was backing Nick Jackison down when he turned and nailed Elgin with “V-TRIGGER”!
Elgin is aon dream street as Omega “too sweeted” the Young Bucks!
They hit “Indytaker” on Elgin and pinned him.
WINNERS: YOUNG BUCKS

OMEGA: Dario, you think you are so smart. First you make me team with that big dummy, Elgin. You make me face Bandido, in the same night!
Next time on HWC television, I will dismantle the ‘modern day Frankenstein” I am going to knock your block off with a ‘V-trigger” and then lift you up for ‘One Wing Angel”
Oh, and don’t think I forgot about you, Stan Hansen. You disgusting obese, pig of a man. You want to raise your rating by calling out Omega?!! I AM the face of Ringside Productions and Heartland Championship Wresttling. So, put on your big boy boots … put on that filthy cowboy … and bring your carcass to the “Temple of the Elite” and we will see what you are made of.
