Gordon Solie and Roddy Piper welcome us to this week's show... the Contender's Round Robin starts this week... we'll hear from the World's Tag Team Champions... The Pan-Pacific Connection and The Road Warriors square off with a number one contender's match at stake... but up first, the World's Heavyweight Champion is in action. Non-Title Opening MatchWorld's Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam (w/ Bill Alfonso) pins Kenny Jay after a Van Daminator in 7:41 MATCH RATING: 1.00 Gordon Solie calls the Champ over to the podium and asks his thoughts on the Contender's Round Robin... RVD says, "Gordon Solie, Race, Thesz, Kowalski, and Hennig are all tough dudes. They are tough and skilled wrestlers. But, are they 'Mr. Saturday Night'? Are they 'The Whole F'n Show'? Nope. That's R-V-D. I'm the World's Champ and I kinda like it, so I think I'll hold on to this strap for a little while."... RVD and Bill Alfonso stay at the announce position to comment on the Contender's Round Robin matches. Contender's Round Robin Round 1 Match"Cool" Curt Hennig (w/ J.J. Dillon) pins "Handsome" Harley Race with the Hennig-Plex in 19:10 MATCH RATING: 2.00 Hennig and Dillon head to the podium and Van Dam extends his hand saying, "Helluva match, man"... Hennig looks at the extended hand, smirks, shakes his head in disgust, and walks away with Dillon. Contender's Round Robin Round 1 MatchLou Thesz pins Killer Kowalski with the Thesz Press in 9:28 MATCH RATING: 0.50 As Thesz gets his hand raised, King Kong Bundy hits the ring and attacks Thesz... Bundy bulls Thesz in the corner and hits him with the Avalanche... before Bundy can hit a splash on Thesz, RVD hits the ring with a chair in hand... Bundy bails, the Champ stands guard, and Alfonso and referees check on Thesz as we go to commercial. We come back to Solie and Piper at the podium... they let us know that Lou Thesz was responsive and alert, but has been taken to Emory Hospital as a precaution... now, it's time for the main event and Giant Baba and The Destroyer, The Pan-Pacific Connection make their entrance... once they are in the ring, a disturbance is heard at the curtain and Luke Williams and Butch Miller, The Sheepherders come out and head to the podium... they go to Solie and ask, "Oi, where's The Road Warriors? We came to see The Road Warriors and we can't find 'em. They're no where in the locker room and they're not out here"... when Solie reacts dumbfounded at the news Miller continues... "Well, no Warriors, but seems a shame to let a shot at the number one contendership go to waste"... and The Sheepherders hit the ring... Referee Tommy Young checks with The Connection then calls for the bell... looks like we're on! MAIN EVENT Winners Get a Number One Contender's MatchThe Pan-Pacific Connection defeat The Sheepherders in 10:02 when a distraction leads to Giant Baba pinning Butch Miller after a piledriver MATCH RATING: 1.50 As The Sheepherders swarm Baba and look to end the match, the World's Tag Team Champions The Sandman & Bruiser Brody storm into the studio in street clothes, bags and belts in hand, causing the distraction that leads to Baba's comeback and the piledriver... as soon as the match ends, the Champs hit the ring and go after The Sheepherders with a wild brawl and pull apart as we go off the air.

Gordon Solie and Roddy Piper get us ready for another big week of action... we'll hear from the World's Tag Champs Bruiser Brody and The Sandman... we've got a return from a singles match a few weeks ago as Gorgeous George faces Bobo Brazil... the second round of the Contender's Round Robin takes place... and we start off with The Family in action. Opening MatchThe Family defeats Rough & Ready in 9:34 when Bobby Heenan pins Rough after a body slam MATCH RATING: 0.50 Gordon Solie welcomes Lou Thesz to the podium to discuss the Contender's Round Robin and King Kong Bundy's attack last week... before Thesz can respond, Bundy attacks from behind and blindsides Thesz... before anyone realizes what's going on, Bundy splashes a prone Thesz on the studio floor... as security and officials respond to the situation, Bundy starts screaming at Thesz, "PUNISHMENT ONGOING, THESZ! NOBODY EMBARASSES ME! NOBODY!" Return MatchBobo Brazil defeats Gorgeous George (w/ Cherie Dupre) by disqualification when George smashes Brazil with his perfume atomizer in 5:51 MATCH RATING: 0.50 Commissioner Teddy Long comes out to talk to Roddy Piper about the attack we saw earlier... "Let me holla at ya', Hot Rod. Lou Thesz is double tough and, against medical advice, he is competiting in tonight's main event against Harley Race. Now as for Bundy, he's been thrown out of the studio. Fines and suspensions are being considered, but Bundy's gonna learn, playa', you can't pull stuff like this around here." Contender's Round Robin Round 2 Match"Cool" Curt Hennig (1-0) (w/ J.J. Dillon) pins Killer Kowalski (0-1) with the Hennig-Plex in 17:28 MATCH RATING: 4.00 Gordon Solie calls out for the World's Tag Team Champions Bruiser Brody and The Sandman to join him... Brody apologizes for being late last week and explains that The Road Warriors were broke down on the side of the road and that he and Sandman stopped to help... The Sheepherders come out and interrupt, with Butch Miller saying, "Nobody wants to hear about The Road Warriors and their four flat tires. We've got bigger problems, like..." Brody pulls the mic back in his direction, "Who said the Warriors had four flat tires?" As The Sheepherders start to respond, The Road Warriors hit and security follows quickly behind before much damage can happen. MAIN EVENT Contender's Round Robin Round 2 MatchLou Thesz (1-0) pins "Handsome" Harley Race (0-1) after a series of dropkicks in 11:57 MATCH RATING: 1.50 Thesz and Race shake hands afterwards and head to the podium... Thesz says, "BUNDY! You say punishment ongoing. Try. I will become the World's Champion and nothing, not you or anyone else, will stand in my way"... Race steps up, "I can respect that. What I can't respect is someone that can't take a loss like a man. Bundy, understand this, Harley Race is watching Thesz's back. And Thesz, you understand this, I want that World's Title too, and I don't care who has it. If it's you, I'll deal with you when the time comes."

Gordon Solie and Roddy Piper are counting down the days to February 16th and LWF Heartbreak on pay-per-view... we've got two matches with championship implications this week as the Contender's Round Robin concludes... and this week's main event is the Tag Title #1 Contender's Match with the Pan-Pacific Connection taking on "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers and "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka... and kicking things off, The Rat Pack is in action. Opening MatchThe Rat Pack defeats Doug Vines & George Weingroff when Ted DiBiase pins Vines after a fist drop in 2:42 MATCH RATING: 1.00 Lou Thesz comes out to the announcer podium, dressed in street clothes, and asks for Roddy Piper to come around with the mic... "Piper, you are tough man, so I want you on the mic. No offense, Mr. Solie, but I don't want you in harm's way. Now... BUNDY! I know you are here. I know you are probably looking for a piece of me. Well, I'm not hard to find. You want me... come try me!" Bundy comes out and starts shouting at Thesz... then Killer Kowalski hits Thesz from behind and Bundy joins in... they both double team Thesz when Harley Race tackles Kowalski out of nowhere... Kowalski breaks free and, before Race reaches his feet, Bundy splashes Race on the concrete studio floor... officials and referees storm the area to break things up as we go to break Contender's Round Robin Round 3 MatchKiller Kowalski (0-2) forces "Handsome" Harley Race (0-2) to submit to the Kowalski Claw in 3:03 MATCH RATING: DUD Bobo Brazil comes out to the podium for an interview with Gordon Solie... Brazil says "'Gorgeous' George has gotten on my nerves, Mr. Solie. I've won our last to matches, but not on my own skills. First, George walked out. Second, he got DQ'd. Well, George, you are a tough and skilled competitor and if I get a win against you, I want to earn it. I want a return match at Heartbreak. George, unless you are a coward that's trying to avoid a fair fight with me... I'll see you at Heartbreak." Contender's Round Robin Round 2 MatchLou Thesz (2-0) defeats "Cool" Curt Hennig (w/ J.J. Dillon) (2-0) by disqualification in 7:07 when King Kong Bundy attacks Thesz MATCH RATING: 2.00 As soon as Bundy hits, security follows... Commissioner Teddy Long comes out shouting at Bundy as Hennig and Dillon complain to Long... mass confusion as we go to commercial break Gordon Solie is with Commissioner Long when we come back from break... Long says, "Aight, playa'! First things first, Dillon and Hennig's protesting the DQ because they've got nothing to do with Bundy. Well, I believe 'em, but it don't matter. A referee's decision is final. Thesz is the number one contender to RVD's World's Title. Ya'll got a problem with that, take it up with Bundy. But, that's not what I came out here for. The Sheepherders and The Road Warriors have both been blowin' up my phone. They want a fight. Well, who am I to deny a couple tag teams wanting to fight? Heartbreak, Warriors, Sheepherders, it's on!"
