Born in Mexico City, Carlos has been an avid wrestling fan for as long as he can remember. When he was only 15 he began training with a local Lucha Libre instructor. But soon after found he didn’t like the fast paced high flying associated with Lucha Libre. Instead he liked a slow paced pick your opponent apart one limb at a time submission style. At age 18 Carlos stopped his wrestling training and became involved in an underground pit fighting group. It was here that he earned the nickname El Toro Loco (The Crazy Bull) for his head on with reckless abandon style. People began comparing him to former pit fighter and pro wrestler Iron Bull Tommy Silvano. Carlos at first enjoyed the notoriety of the comparisons but after some vicious beat downs from others looking to make a name for themselves and the high expectations Carlos retired from the pit fighting world with a bruised ego and bruised body. A year after retiring Carlos began training at his first love, Pro Wrestling, and with a submission styled repertoire he now looks to make his name on the indy circuit to prove his abilities and overcome the comparisons with Tommy Silvano.
Torez is a former pit fighter who after a successful career went on to become a pro wrestler much like the man he was often compared to Tommy Iron Bull Silvano, but unlike Iron Bull success in the wrestling ring was hard to come by for the Crazy Bull. Now with legalized MMA on the rise Torez has decided to go back to the one thing that he was good at and forget his wrestling dreams.
THE KINGDOM – Carlos applies a Kataha-jime chokehold and brings his opponent to his knees. Carlos then straddles the victim’s back and applies pressure in a “camel clutch” fashion. (Kataha-Jime/Camel Clutch)
El Negro Oro Embraque (the Black Gold Clutch)– Carlos tackles his opponent to the ground so that they are lying on their stomach. He then applies a full nelson and raises the victim’s torso off the ground as in a camel clutch. (Back Mounted Full Nelson)
El Toro Gore - as a wrestler it was a spear but now as a MMA fighter commentators have come to call his charging shoot and slam the Toro Gore.
