That's cool. Sputnik Monroe would be my choice for a Memphis headliner. PG-13, Tommy Rich and Bill Dundee would get color cards too. Sam Luptak Jr. would mark the F out for Sputnik Monroe. Personally I don't get the appeal, but then again I didn't grow up watching Memphis. I only read about it in THE WRESLTER, INSIDE WRESTLING and of course PWI. I'm sure a lot of people don't get my obsession with the Masked Superstar, Mr. WRESTLING II and Steve Keirn. |

Oh yeah, Sputnik was an average wrestler with an interesting look but his ability to break down the Memphis color barrier was amazing and why I would also love to see him.

Jeff Jarrett isn’t under WWE contract. Would love to see him in the Memphis set. Could use him in NWA, WWF, SCW and my XIW (ECW/Impact) feds. I would get an insane amount of use out of his card w him wrestling all over. Gets boring in one territory or loses a title he can bounce to another.

I don't recall Kabuki ever in Memphis and if he was it wasn't for any length of time. Lots of wrestlers back in the day would pop into a territory for a short run but you wouldn't necessarily associate them with that territory. He was here for a couple months towards the end of 1986. He was aligned with Tojo. But I would never consider him a Memphis guy |

Can't wait for this set!!! Tommy Rich has to get a colored card. Austin Idol, Bill Dundee too colored card. Jerry The King Lawler??? Hopefully... I think Memphis... Jerry Lawler. This set is going to give a big impact to everyone's Fed's. I know it will too mine for sure.

While Memphis is not high on my wish list Idol and Lawler would work out well and maybe Jimmy Hart or Kaufman wrestling card. Lol

And the hard part with an Al Madril card is he seems to want NOTHING to do with his wrestling past (not sure if that is real or not, just a prevailing rumor)... and yes, the bulk of his time was Texas and Portland... he is one on my list of boots to get done, just haven't gotten to him on the list yet, lmao!!
