I hear that Mr Wonderful Paul Orndorff has passed away at 71. I remember his matches against Hogan and Piper as well as Snuka. I remember how close he came to beating then intercontinental champion Tito Santana. I remember him winning the National Title. Always a threat to any title no .after what territory he was in. That piledriver was simply devastating RIP sir as you join your fellow legends who passed before you. Prayers to his family, friends, and fans.

He had some great matches, that's for sure! And a place in wrestling history, with the outcome of WrestleMania 1! I saw an interview with him somewhere in which he stated he did not wrestle the same match all the time. He wanted to mix it up a bit so he didn't seem stale (that last part I don't think he said, but it was what he meant, I think). Here's his heel turn against Hogan: I was going to include his Saturday Night's Main Event against Hogan in the big blue cage (the "swiss timing" one), but couldn't find it on Youtube. I did find it on WWE.com though. It's on this playlist: Orndorff VS HoganR.I.P., Mr. Wonderful! Todd C WTIC
