FTR Uprising card 5 of 12
FTR Uprising 5 05.15.2137 from Centra Palladium, Centra Gate, Kronos
- Swerve Taken Out? - We start out the show with a bang! In the locker rooms, we find Swerve laid out, face down on the floor! He's out cold! A steel chair laid besides him. He was supposed to have a match with The Piranha tonight, a steel chair match! Looks like we a situation of where Swerve may not be cleared to compete here tonight! The camera picks up a shadowy figure in the dark corners, lurking about! It looks like that Mystery Man that has been seen last season. Is it? His face is hit by some fading light, and he's wearing a mask. We haven't seen the face of the Mystery Man before, so it this is him, he's wearing a mask! Is this the Mystery Man? Who is this guy? And did he lay out Swerve tonight?
- Trios Challenge - The Piranha is in the ring, ready for his steel chair match with Swerve. He has now learned that match will not happen! However, Chief Reign comes out with the Natives and issues a Trios #1 Contenders match for tonight! The three enter the ring and attack The Piranha and The Primitives come running out, clearing the ring! An impromptu match is set! The Natives of Castilex vs. The Primitives of Primus & The Piranha.
- Trios #1 Contender Match - Chief Reign and The Natives vs. The Piranha and Cringe & Grovel Cringe defeated Krud with a PRIMUS ATTACKS tag at -- -- Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The Natives of Castilex just didn't get on track in the match, as Primitives of Primus dissected them in the match! Cringe & Grovel use their tag finisher PRIMUS ATTACKS to score the victory. They can challenge the Trios Champs whenever they choose! After the match, Chief Reign was not happy with his follower, and chokeslams him down on the mat as Ygorr cowers in the corner, watching his brother get decimated!
- The Quest For Truth! - Quest is back! And he is relentless in finding the truth! "The Truth Is Out There!" Quest finds Blue Chip. He questions him about his true whereabouts last season! We thought you were dead!? And now you tell us you've been training? Come on, man! Nobody believes that story! Where were you really? Blue Chip sticks to his story, staying it was intense training and no one knew where he was because of the nature of the training! Quest states, he believes that the Mystery Man we've been seeing since last season, and even tonight, is Blue Chip behind the hood or the mask! You took out Swerve, didn't you!!! Blue Chip denies anything and says I had nothing to gain from it. I have no quarrel with Swerve or anyone. My only goal is to compete again and work my way up the ranks! Quest mocks him, saying he didn't fair too well against Duke of Destruction last card. Looks like all that training didn't do you much good! Quest leaves and Blue Chip looks like he didn't appreciate that comment!
- Buy In Battle Out - Plethador vs. King Tux Plethador defeated King Tux with a PLANTATION PLUNGE at -- -- Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Plethador was on a mission. Flurry helped his father with a distraction that caused Plethador to give chase outside the ring and nearly got counted out! He makes it in at the count of 9. King Tux took it to Plethador and nearly gets the win again, but Plethador survived it! Plethador gets a low blow in and then hits PLANTATION PLUNGE to score the win! Plethador secures his Championship opportunity, whenever he wants his one on one shot.
- Disciples of Terror - Johnny Rocket is back stage with the Disciples of Terror, 1 & 2! Johnny wants to know their reaction to losing to the team of Pardon and Moonlight last card! Disciple of Terror 1 says it won't go unanswered. Pardon will get his shot again and I'll do my talking in the ring, not here! Disciple of Terror 2 says Moonlight and I have a match tonight, one on one! I plan on making my statement in that ring as well! No more talk! They both leave as we head the ring for our next match!
Disciple of Terror 2 vs. Moonlight Moonlight defeated Disciple of Terror 2 with an ABSOLUTE PARDON at -- -- Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Disciple of Terror 2 just couldn't get on track, Moonlight kept the pressure on! The Champ, DoT1 tried to help, but was cut off from Pardon. Moonlight hits ABSOLUTE PARDON while the referee was trying to restore order, and turns around to see Moonlight's cover, 1.2.3! Moonlight steals one!
- #1 Contenders Tag Team Match - The Aethran Soldiers vs. The Following Aethran Soldier defeated Partide with a Gladiator Piledriver at -- -- Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: After a quick exchange between Aethran Soldier 1 and Partide, Soldier 1 takes a break outside the ring and breaks any momentum Partide could have made! Aethran Soldiers take over the match and using a Gladiator Piledriver (x2) and score a win. Soldier 2 cuts off Votarist from making a save. Big win for the Aethran Soldiers as they move on to face Mad Maxus at Midway Mayhem for the FTR Tag Team Championship!
- Captain Crossbones Challenge - Captain Crossbones comes out and makes another challenge to Prince of the Rose. Captain Crossbones was embarrassed by Prince of the Rose in a Walk The Plank Match! Captain Crossbones wants a rematch from that Kronos match, at Midway Mayhem! Prince of the Rose comes out and at first denies Crossbones a rematch. I've already beaten you in your style of match! IF I accept your challenge, we'll do this on my terms, in my ring! Why don't we make this a Black Rose Match. Climb the ladder and retrieve a Black Rose to win the match! I beat you in your match, now see if you can beat me in mine? Captain Crossbones accepts the challenge.
- Black Hole Championship Tournament Finals - Chavo Pequeno vs. Murtak for the FTR Black Hole Championship Chavo Pequeno defeated Murtak with a Tombstone Piledriver at -- -- Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Murtak had the match won when he used CONQUEROR’S FLAG, but Eugenic's Project at ringside get on the apron, not paying attention to the match at all, thinking Pequeno was winning, distract the referee! The referee ejects them from ringside! Murtak can't believe it! Chavo Pequeno gets back up and nails a Tombstone Piledriver to get the win! Murtak wins the Black Hole Championship! Eugenics Project come back out and celebrate? with Murtak with the title! Murtak can't believe it! Eugenics Project convince Murtak that it's a good thing having a title! Murtak now believes he's going to be the best Champion in the FTR!
Murtak wins the FTR Black Hole Championship!
- Doomsayer's Request - Doomsayer comes out and makes a request to Astarte. I don't know exactly what the beef is here, Astarte claims to have some past hatred for my counterpart in an alternate timeline? He thinks my alternate self needs to pay for what he did. WHAT HE DID! That's the difference. I had nothing to do with whatever revenge you got, Astarte! But you want to bring your hatred and grief here to me? I have nothing to do with it! But if you want a fight, we can do that here! But once I put you down, that's the end of it! So bring your ass out here and let's finish this fight, one last time! Astarte comes out and points to Doomsayer as You're on! We will finish this tonight!
- Main Event - Astarte vs. Doomsayer Astarte defeated Doomsayer with a count out at -- -- Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Doomsayer had enough and walks out of the match. If you think this is over, you're wrong! Astarte is livid and will not settle for a count out victory! At Midway Mayhem, COSMIC CAGE MATCH! Astarte vs. Doomsayer, the final match!
Overall Card Rating: 1.75

Had to have Murtak win for the online result to score the title win. It's an odd thing for Online to understand, losing to win?! LOL.

- Six Way Scramble Match - Blur vs. Forge vs. Splash vs. Workrate vs. Witch vs. Honey Witch defeated Splash with a DIVINE WIND at -- -- Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: Awesome action in this one! Honey, Witch, Workrate and Blue kept the match moving between these four. Forge kept the pinsaves and Splash was the momentum changer, sneaking in at the right time to change things up. In the end, Witch catches Splash in DIVINE WIND and Forge just missed out on the save. Witch makes an impressive debut win in this scramble match!
- 8 AniMen Elimination Tag Team Match - Alkalil, Armour, Gobbler, and Mallard vs. King Tux, Cephalopodis, Mayham, and Chameleon Chameleon defeated Armour with a count out at -- -- Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: It was a clean sweep by the FTR AniMen in this one. It was Chameleon & Mayham using their finisher BLENDING IN on Gobbler for the first elimination. Then Cephalopodis & King Tux used GLACIER SLIDE finisher on Mallard for the second elimination. Alkalil came in a house of fire, but King Tux cooled him off with his ICE BREAKER for the third elimination. That just left Armour to fight for himself, and he rolls out of the ring and takes the count out loss as he doesn't want no part of the 4 on 1 disadvantage! Strong showing by the FTR AniMen in this war! Plethador assures their rivals that they may have won the battle, but not the war! This isn't over!
- The View With Wiggy - Wiggy has Blue Chip back for her show! Along with Blue Chip, Duke of Destruction is in the ring as well. Clearly backed by Wiggy, Duke concurs with Quest, that he believes Blue Chip is behind the hood of the Mystery Man! Clearly his absence from the ring last season and this mystery man showing up in Blue Chip's absence, makes it blatantly obvious that Blue Chip is the mystery man and the attacker of Swerve last card! Just admit it already! Blue Chip refuses to admit it. It wasn't me, I'm not this mystery man you speak of. I was training, and I'm here to compete! Now if you want another match for me to prove it to you, I'll show you that my training was the hardest thing I've went through. I can beat you. I WILL beat you! Just give me that chance again! Duke of Destruction talks it over with Wiggy and then accepts the challenge for the next card! HOWEVER, if Duke wins again, you have to take a lie detector test and prove his innocence with Quest! Blue Chip agrees, but assures Duke & Wiggy that he's not lying and he will win next card!
- Tag Team Match - Vacant and Zealos vs. Eugenics Project Mass defeated Zealos with a flying crossbody block (deathjump) at -- -- Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Vacant and Zealos showed great team work again, but it wasn't enough as Madcliff made Crust indestructible with her Nanites and with Mass' power, they just wore down Zealos in the match! Mass comes off the top turnbuckle with a flying crossbody block that just squashed Zealos, and Crust cut off Vacant from making the save! Eugenics Project gets their first win of 2137!
- Black Rose Ladder Match - Prince of the Rose vs. Captain Crossbones Prince of the Rose defeated Captain Crossbones with a fight on top of ladder, grabbed the black rose at -- -- Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: In a 5 Star Classic, Prince of the Rose and Captain Crossbones battled back and forth. Prince of the Rose, having 10 tokens, and Captain Crossbones having 7, worked their way up to the top of the ladder, and battled back and forth. Punching their way, Captain Crossbones lost his footing and slipped off the ladder. Prince of the Rose was able to obtain the Black Rose and wins the match in a nail biter!
- Cosmic Cage Match - Astarte vs. Doomsayer Astarte defeated Doomsayer with a GREATNESS DAWNS (+4) at -- -- Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Doomsayer was up for a fight tonight, he really took the fight to Astarte early. Astarte battled back and boosted his finisher to it's maximum potency. Astarte hit Doomsayer with GREATNESS DAWNS (+4) to climb out of the cage and win the match.
- The Quest For Truth Part 2 - Quest is at it again! This time, he targets The Piranha! He tracks him down and claims he had something to do with Swerve's hit last card! Suspicious that they were in a Chair Match, a steel chair was found at the crime scene, you two had beef! You were there to take out Swerve so you didn't have to face him in a Chairs Match! Didn't you, come on. Admit it!!! The Piranha stated he didn't do it, and why? He'd rather keep Swerve around so he and the Primitives of Primus could face Swerve and the rest of Rocket's Revenge for the FTR Trios Tag Team Titles! With Swerve out, now we can't challenge until Swerve comes back! Why would I do that? Makes no sense. Quest admits that's a pretty good reason not to take somebody out. But if The Piranha didn't do, and Blue Chip still a main suspect, Quest gives it Piranha! You're off the hook for now, but I wouldn't leave town buddy! I'll be back! Quest leaves and The Piranha looks on.
- Centra Championship Match - Mister Centra vs. Epitome2117 Mister Centra defeated Epitome2117 with a DQ, for Paragon's interference at -- -- Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Epitome was in rare form tonight, he really got to Mister Centra tonight, as he says "Mister Centra doesn't even belong in a FTR Ring or any ring for that matter! I'm going to take that title from you tonight!" Epitome got Mister Centra so steamed, that he made a mistake from the opening bell. Epitome started out on Level 2 Offense. And then Mister Centra turned it up! "Can You Feel It?" was in the air and Centra dang near beat Epitome with VECTOR ONE VERVE (+4), but Paragon interferes in the match. Epitome and Paragon hit a double team move and the referee had no choice but to Disqualify Epitome for the interference.
Mister Centra retains the Centra Championship.
- FTR Tag Team Championship Match - Mad Maxus vs. The Aethran Soldiers Electric Axe defeated Aethran Soldier with a MAXUS ATTACKS US tag at -- -- Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The Aethran Soldiers gave Mad Maxus all they could handle, but the longevity of tagging between The Electric Axe & Totally Awesome is hard to combat! They battled back and win when they used MAXUS ATTACKS US on Aethran Soldier 1. Soldier 2 was cut off from making the save!
Mad Maxus retains the FTR Tag Team Championship.
- Simian & Sleazel - Pardon & Moonlight come down to the ringside and take a seat next to Simian & Sleazel for commentary for the FTR Championship Main Event Match!!! Simian leads the charge of cheering on Disciple of Terror in the FTR Championship Match! The crowd gets into it and chants "DOT! DOT! DOT!" Disciple of Terror draws inspiration from the chants and is pumped up! Disciple of Terror starts offense on Level 2! Pardon, Moonlight and Sleazel seemed annoyed by Simian! "How lame are you?"
- FTR Championship Match - Disciple of Terror vs. Plethador Disciple of Terror defeated Plethador with a DREADNAUGHT at -- -- Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Disciple of Terror was out for blood. The only thing that kept Plethador even remotely in the match was the Andromedan Xtreme Team who beat down Disciple of Terror outside the ring. Plethador comes outside and tossed him back into the ring. But he couldn't get the pinfall after the PLANTATION PLUNGE!? Disciple of Terror battled back with a running spear and then another DREADNAUGHT! Moonlight tried to distract DoT, but Disciple of Terror 2 pulled her off the apron! Pardon and Moonlight leave the ringside area as the Disciples of Terror stand victorious inside the ring!
Disciple of Terror retains the FTR Championship.
Overall Card Rating: 3.06
