How about Cleveland Rocks? Ian Hunter could sing the song on opening day! That's really good, fits the narrative of the RNR Hall of Fame - not to mention that existing song. Though the ROCKIES might try and fight it, too derivative? |

Cleveland used to have a WNBA team and they were called the Rockers after the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. I like the Rocks, still better than the Guardians. I’m more of a fan of anamorphic nicknames more so than naming the team after what the city icons. Team names are supposed to be aggressive. Inspire some ferocity! I mean the Eagles sounds much better than the Liberty or the Philly Bells. They should’ve just owned the whole Steamer thing and went with that lol

My wife had a good one ... Cleveland Oranges but they only wear Brown colors that way it would make sense with the Cleveland Browns who wear orange.

Won't be the same without the Indians. Being a Ranger fan we had a few history making moments. There was the 10 cent beer night fiasco and getting Buddy Bell, among others. The Gaurdians just don't have the same ring.
