I find it funny that Giulia told Roxanne Perez "You, me, CW!" last night on USA Network. Not to mention the non-stop ads for CM Punk & Randy Orton on NXT's first two CW shows. It does seem silly, but they need to make sure people tune into CW to watch. It will be even worse near the end of the year when Raw gets ready to move to Netflix. I can hardly wait(being sarcastic there). I don't have Netflix so I'm not looking forward to them reminding me that I can't watch a show that I've watched for years anymore.

The Bloodline--minus Solo Sikoa--showed up on NXT last night, and it got me thinking...
The trio of Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa should be called the New SWATT Team...
That's Samoan Werewolf And Two Tongans. It can be Three Tongans if Hikuleo joins WWE.

I see Saturday Night Main Event is coming back and I have to ask, why? I mean beyond the nostalgia of it all, what is the point. When I was young, back in the mid to late 80s, it was special because you saw name faces take on name heels. No premlim bums. But since the arrival of Raw and later Smackdown we see that every week. If they want to make it special, it should be an NXT vs TNA thing. Matchups we have not seen before or at most just once or twice. But that is just my opinion and view of it all.

They should just show reruns of the original SNME. BTW, "Obsession" by Animotion is the best theme song ever!

I agree with you completely. By the way if you don't already own it I HIGHLY recommend the Best Of Saturday Night's Main Event DVD set that WWE released a few years ago. It's a fun trip down memory lane and it's one of their best releases ever!

But I am pretty sure I do not, but it was one I was eyeing at one time. I will have to look into getting it. It was always a joy for me as a kid. Late Saturday night watching either SNL or SNME. A nice way to end the first day of the weekend. Those were the days.

As a kid, I remember every Sunday morning when the newspaper arrived with the TV listings for the week and I would immediately turn to the Saturday night page to see if the following weekend was going to have either Saturday Night Live or Saturday Night's Main Event and I was always hoping for the latter. I remember the first Saturday Night's main event I watched helped set up Wrestlemania 2 with Piper's attack on Mr. T and Bundy's attack on Hogan. Also, the British Bulldogs vs the Dream Team for the WWF World Tag Team Championship and JYD vs Adrian Adonis.

Also, the British Bulldogs vs the Dream Team for the WWF World Tag Team Championship and JYD vs Adrian Adonis. The First Main Event I remember watching was the one that aired on Friday night November 23rd, 1990 (taped on October 30th) There are two vivid memories I have of that event: 1. Randy Savage beating the crap out of The Ultimate Warrior after Warrior’s match with Ted Dibiase 2. My Dad getting annoyed with me during the Mr. Perfect-Big Bossman match. I was playing with my wrestling figures at the time and only half paying attention to the T.V. As a result I kept asking my Dad over and over again what had just happened in between my glances at the screen. He finally told me that if I wanted to know what happened I should put down my toys and just watch the match. Looking back I can’t say I blame him for being annoyed.🤣 But, hey, I was only 7 years old at the time so what do you expect? While researching the date for this post I discovered that this was the same event where The Rockers phantom Tag Team Title win occurred . If that had actually made air I probably would have lost my voice screaming in celebration as I was a big Rockers fan.
