Turns out John Cena was in town here, Lakeland FL, today. In fact he was only a few miles from where I live and work. Not sure why. Might have to do with Royal Rumble coming to Tampa next year.

Watching NXT for first time in a couple years and I was thinking Michin looked a lot like Mia Yim. Then I found out why. It IS Mia. That is WWE for you. Not only do they rename talent when they get signed but they rename talent they have had signed before. My guess is years ago they purchased a naming program and they want to make sure they get their moneys worth from it.

Roman Reigns has been out of the ring since Wrestlemania. Is there any possibility that his leukemia has returned? When he announced his condition in 2019 and took time off he was a face, so, now that he is a heel, no announcement of the condition would make sense.

I believe that he was filming a part in a film, so I don't think his illness returned. Besides, during his reign he's disappear for months at a time. He's a part timer working a part timer schedule. |

I imagine a lot of you remember this, but I thought I'd repeat it.
Back when Hulk Hogan was first starting to make it big in WWF and helping to build WWF into what it is today, the company that owned Marvel Comics sued Titan Sports, WWF's parent company, for copyright infringement. I always thought it was ironic that Vince had to pay Marvel Comics to use the name of the wrestler who was building up his company. It is also the reason Hulk Hogan became Hollywood Hogan when he went to WCW, Ted Turner didn't want to pay to use the name.

Funny thing what triggered it was not using Hulk...but they were calling him the Incredible Hulk Hogan. That was a step too far.

He didn't become Hollywood till like a couple years after joining WCW. I wonder if Ted had to pay or he worked out a deal with them.
