Anyone see the first episode of What If...? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm glad they went with a happy ending story first. I have all the What if? Comics I'm just really happy that are doing this series. The art is fantastic. Captain Carter was swoll.

I thought it was great too. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

I was happy that they did not go too cartoonish with this. It was mostly serious like most issues of What If. The first episode kept pretty close to the first Cap movie but I guess for more casual fans it makes sense. They can relate to the movie more than comics and so they can enjoy it. I am sure later episodes will diverge more and explore the effects of a change. I was a big fan of What If... growing up but as I have said numerous times over last decade or so Marvel has kind of ruined the need for it as the regular Marvel universe has become one big What If, at least in my eyes. Looking forward to future episodes. It will be a bit weird having some of the voices from the MCU and having some new voices for major characters.

Another fun show this week. Just a couple questions. 1) Were the tentacles we saw the same as the first show? 2) When evil Strange had good Strange thinking he was Christine was the plan to get good Strange in him by having him penetrate "Christine"

This weeks episode was another great one. I'm happy that they are straying more from the MCU when they split off. This episode did bring a question to mind. If an episode does not seem to have a definite end should they go back and do a second part in future seasons or just leave them open ended?

Personally I'd prefer some at least left open-ended. One problem nowadays with the mediums is that they feel the need to tell you everything preventing you from imagining some stuff yourself.

Well I do not need all to be continues. Even if they do continue they can be left open ended there. The zombie episode was fine being open ended. I just refer to last weeks because they left it as a cliff hanger as well as open ended. As far as this weeks episode it was too cheesy for my taste but it was ok. I just feel it represents the direction Disney is taking Thor in the MCU and I am not a fan. I did appreciate the couple Looney Toon references in this episode and the fight scenes were sweet.

This weeks episode was good. Not a fan of Ultron's voice but I was that way with the movie. Is it safe to say this episode is tied to the one centering on Dr. Strange? Also did I see Galactus? Because he was who I thought of when Watcher said still a hope. Plus it's be the first sighting of him in the MCU. Speaking of MCU I wish they'd stop trying to squeeze every character and movie reference into every episode of the show.
