Due to family issues at the time, I haven't touched my Legends League since October of 2007. I haven't even bought the newer cards, and I was really looking forward to Legends of the Future.
So now I'm wondering how to get back in. A reboot almost makes seance because I don't remember what my direction was at the time I quit. Not that i couldn't read my fed log to see.
I donno, I really want to play again, but I need an idea to jump start me back in. Any thoughts? Anyone else ever deal with this?

I'd keep your champs and a few other guys, citing budget cuts (we are in a recession...), then use the LOTF and LOTF2 guys to fill out the roster. That way, no restart, you get to use the new guys, and you keep your fed's history going.

That's a good idea. Not sure when I'd be able to order the LOTF sets right now, but I could mix in some lesser guys. I've been seriously thinking I'd cut back on the number of belts I use anyway, so I may get rid of my TV Title.

A convenient way to get rid of a belt is have the TV titleholder wrestle another title holder and unify the two belts that way. Really gives a push to whomever wins the match.

Was actually thinking about the old TNA set up. Unify my US Title with the World Title and somehow make the TV Title an X Title. Then have 3 distinct divisions for Heavyweight, X, and Tag.

A reboot almost makes seance because I don't remember what my direction was at the time I quit. Not that i couldn't read my fed log to see. That typo gives me a great idea! Have Mesmer or someone do a seance and bring back the ghosts of the wrestlers from the past and have Witch Doctor from aCe reanimate some others into wrestling zombies! Phantast catches wind of what's going on and gives all of the modern guys magical powers to combat them! Then it could be a battle amongdt the factions for supremecy! Oh, wait a minute. I'm sure that 4AM mid-workday(or worknight, in my case) idea won't seem as good after I get some sleep! Serious answer: I'd go for a total reboot in your situation. Or keep the champs, explain the hiatus as the promotion going under and coming back with new owners, and shake up the roster as necessary.

i started from scratch after a short break, but it just didnt seem right, the history and storylines of my old fed haunted my new start up fed,i eventually did the "right thing" and rebooted my original fed,put it down to the company having financial problems, kept my champions, chopped the dead wood from the roster, added some new guys and never looked back since.

I recently switched the format of my fed. But I kept the champs and title histories. I don't think I'd do a 100% reboot. Even if I change format again, I'll still carry over my fed history. I've had that thing going for too long to just give up on it.

the big problem is I did the company going bankrupt as a storyline while I was regularly running the fed, and the last few game months I had run were the company restructuring itself.

I did the whole financial angle with the CCW when we ran a couple of shows and then didn't do things for a whole bunch of months. It is always easiest to keep you champs in place and give storyline about the company's money issues. Unless you really hate who your champs are and you drop them as champs. That also allows you to do the whole "screwing the guy out of the belt b/c you lost all the money" kinda stuff.
