Great episode! I remember meeting Brocster and his dad at GalactiCon, and seeing Minskoff explain the game to them. Broc's creativity and passion for the game is contagious. Gary was a great man. I'm confident he's super proud of Broc, and what a great person and father he's become. Thank you Chad for your kind words! That means a lot. You and the other nGo guys were also a HUGE influence on me and the Filsinger Games community as a whole! You guys definitely changed the game in more ways than I can list.

I’m going to give Sudden Death 2094 some love ❤️ for best set. It was the first Sudden Death. It was a new artist which was crazy and huge at the time because up to that point all we knew was Chuck. It was a wild ride and a big message that this game was going to keep going no matter what. Very exciting times. I remember staring at the New Order art in the mailer a and just being absolutely blown away for multiple reasons.

I hope the guys at Fed HQ are reading this - I know there is some question about what happens after we get 2093 with the color re-releases. My personal favorite sets are 2094-2095 and 2099-2100. I pray we get to there, and maybe this love of 2094 will show that there is desire for sets past 2093!

Just finished up listening this morning. Broc ( Brocster), I loved hearing about how quickly you and your dad went from buying the game to attending Galacticon. Thanks for sharing your memories of Steve! Todd ( Tournament Master), I like how you tied in the vintage charts, the Ringside Personnel pack, and the upcoming death match rules as new components of the game. Very interesting observation! As far as a favorite GWF set, as Swarm said, I love 2094 for the new artwork. The Sudden Death concept being introduced at that time was also very unique. And even though she was by herself having the first lady wrestler in Ms. Liberty was a cool milestone. I liked 2090 because of all the important characters introduced, as Chad Olson mentioned. But I think one of my all-time favorites was Civil War 2100. It was the next century in the GWF storyline, which was a cool milestone. I loved that Max Shield and Mandrill were introduced as the start of a new group feud. I loved Overkill's drawing, showing him to be a GIANT. I thought it was cool how Cannibal was becoming a manager but was still very competitive, kind of like Kevin Sullivan at various points in his career. I had just started playing on my own that year and in my own fed, I was just finishing up the 2086 storylines and introducing 2087. But I was aware of the current storylines and remember seeing Chad's copy of the set and being amazed by new mechanics that were upcoming, such as Max Shield's defense. Great show!

Fantastic Episode!
It's great hearing other Promoter's "origin stories"; and the fact that Broc hated it until he tried it...GREAT!
(and you are very welcome Sam, glad to assist in getting you your very own Johnny Rocket card, since you ARE the Filsinger Games real-life Johnny Rocket!!!)"

2090 will always go down at 'the' set, to me, as it's when CotG really clicked for me. Up to that time the expansions were just called Invasion 1 and Invasion 2, but 2090 established the annual idea and that characters will get updates and lineage was established.
Up to that point I was playing the game just as cards and throwing guys in as they came, but now there was this huge meta narrative and lore to build around and really got the creativity flowing.
