Cory, great job of hosting; that kid's got a future fans! I played Street Fighter as well, as well as SEGA WWF (whatever that was called)...but you were definitely getting out of my wheelhouse with some of the more recent games (think I'd aged out! ) Stu, was this WWF Royal Rumble on Sega Genesis? If so, I had that on Super NES and loved it. It was way better than the very disappointing Super Wrestlemania game that had come out the year before. I was bummed that the Genesis Rumble had IRS and Rick Martel, while SNES didn't! Cory, I honestly can't remember which edition it was, the WWF game on Sega. With that said, I don't think it was Royal Rumble though. And thanks for the info on Chad's bump, I'll check that out!

It was interesting to hear what wrestling podcasts you guys listen to, as they are totally different from the ones I listen to. I forget if it was Chad or Cory who used to listen some to Colt Cabana's podcast and knew he had a new format, but hadn't heard it yet. I would highly suggest it, its very snackable, maybe 30 minutes at most. The show is Wrestling Anonymous and he gets anonymous calls from people with stories associated with wrestling and wrestlers. Some wild stuff and Colt does a great job curating and commenting on it. Episode 7 from July 6th starts with a story about Virgil from Jamestown, NY! That was from me, Todd. I saw the recaps of his new show on his Website and thought it sounded interesting. I may have to listen sometime. Even though I'm not presently listening to his show, I always admired the time and effort Colt put into his podcast. He was way ahead of so many others in wrestling when it came to getting his name out there on his own! That was your story or you just talked about the podcast? Lol

Not my story. Just one that I was shocked to hear about from Jamestown that involved Virgil. The guy is at the McDonalds/gas station across from the Comfort Inn which I could tell from the description.
I do plan to call in with my story at one point involving taking my daughter to her first show. If it makes it on I will certainly let everyone on the board know!

I wanted to put that sound in at the end of the episode as an Easter egg! There are a bunch of videos of WCW vs. The World on YouTube. I haven't watched through them all yet but so far, the only low blow spot was in a video reviewing the game and the host is talking over the sound effects! Hey Cory are you absolutely sure it was WCW vs the World and not WCW vs nWo: World Tour on N64 which has an infamous low blow ding: Here's the ding in No Mercy, but it's the same in all their games: WCW vs nWo: World Tour:

But vs. The World definitely had it as well. If you look at the clip I posted in my first post on this thread of a review of the game, you can hear it but the YouTuber is talking over it, which is I why I didn't put it in the episode.

I agree it was on the WCW vs the World game. I’ve never played a N64.

Yeah the infamous Ding/Boo was in multiple games around that time.
