Exceptional episode! You guys did a superb job of recapping the career of the Gamemaster. I must point out that Vin Stutter was another manager card in the 2119 New Beginning set. Although he left under very controversial circumstances (thanks to Epoch and Sly Drury), I kinda like that he never felt the need to return... There was nothing left for him to accomplish and he didn't feel the need to prove anything to anyone... BOOM! Drop the mic! Gamemaster OUT! How did we forget Vin Strutter! Amazing Mann was one of my favorite guys from that time period and he and Strutter were quite an effective unit. Held the IP strap for a while and even managed a win over Endgame in a main event and Strutter was typically responsible for some help along the way.

Thantos, oh man!!! I dunno why, but early on I just didn't get a "vibe" from him, BUT man did he perform and I learned that he really was special!
I had a series of matches between him and Massacre...OUTSTANDING!!!! Definitely one of the best series from my early days.

Thantos’s matches were always super long for me. Because of the whole one finisher - it just was tough to get him to stick people down. However that level two offense was sick!

another great episode. I agree with mike on Thantos’ art being the most iconic out of the first set IMO. The 2087 remake has never looked “right” to me. Interesting discussion on how his downgrade would be handled now. He was my first champion. First top guy, always in the mix and I had him getting cheered without turning baby face as the fans just wanted anyone to end the reign of Chaos. Exceptional episode! One of my longest reigning IP champs and he even beat Endgame for the title at my year end event. Definitely an underrated guy throughout GWF history.
