On this episode of Roll Up, we take the spotlight over to the Gamemaster himself - Thantos! From his beginnings as Cosmos in the early days of the GWF right up to the twilight of his career in the 2120s, we go over the importance of his character, the developments through the years, and why there was always more than meets the eye to one of, if not the, greatest stars in GWF history. But that's not all; we have an impromptu discussion on real-world wrestling upfront, plus all the usual announcements and coverage from Fed HQ! You won't want to miss this one. There is no doubt as to who is the greatest GWF champion of all-time. Thantos dominated the sport like no other.
He is a former 7-time Galaxian champion. He owns the mark for longest title reign, defending the strap 20 times over a period of 250 cards.
Thantos is also the longest reigning Interplanetary champion ever with 14 title defenses. Thantos also held the GWF Steel Cage title, most of the time jointly with the GWF title. Teaming with Bishop Hell and the Exo-King, Thantos held the Six-Man titles for 136 cards and eight defenses.

I really like that your main titles arenโt defended constantly. An average of one GWF title defense every 12 cards seems incredibly patient. The build up between defenses must be super intense.

I have not listened to this episode of Roll Up yet because I am saving it for my flight to Chicago tomorrow morning.
However, Thantos so far for me is a 2 time ROV Champion and a Vega Warfare winner (2088.)
But I am only in 2090 (I got the 2091 color card set which I will play when I finish 2135 and 2137.)

Great show. Thantos held the Galactic Title 7 times for me, and while Star Warrior only had 6 reigns, his time at the top overshadowed the Evil Gamemaster.

Thantos was never able to grab the Galaxian Championship in my fed back in the day...but he had a stranglehold on the IP title for a l-o-n-g time.
He also held the Galaxian Tag straps with Bushop Hell (Bonecrushers) and with Star Warrior (Gamemasters) on several occasions.

At the beginning of my GWF I was having the titles defended on every card. That led to a lot of short reigns and title changes. Then I got better and built up challengers before handing out title matches.

Exceptional episode! You guys did a superb job of recapping the career of the Gamemaster.
I must point out that Vin Stutter was another manager card in the 2119 New Beginning set.
Although he left under very controversial circumstances (thanks to Epoch and Sly Drury), I kinda like that he never felt the need to return... There was nothing left for him to accomplish and he didn't feel the need to prove anything to anyone... BOOM! Drop the mic! Gamemaster OUT!
