Anyone see Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings yet? If so, what did you think of it?
I have not seen it yet because I was in Chicago this past weekend but I am going to see it at the theater across the street in an hour as I need to see it before I go back to work tomorrow and not have to risk my students spoiling the movie (which is why I usually see the Marvel or DC or Star Wars movies the Thursday night they are released. I will definitely be seeing the Venom sequel the Thursday night it is released.)

I saw this movie this afternoon.
I admittedly know very little of Shang-Chi but I still enjoyed this movie. There is a really cool fighting scene on a bus that goes past some major San Francisco landmarks and visually the movie is extremely impressive. This is a very good movie and it is worth seeing in theaters now instead of waiting for it on Disney+ in 45 days, although I personally might have liked Black Widow- the most MCU movie I saw and which I plan to buy when it gets released on BLU-Ray next week- a little more.
FYI, if you go to this movie, there is both a mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene. Most of the crowd at this movie today left after the mid-credits scene and missed the post-credits scene.

I was thinking I'd just wait for it on + but now I might go see it in a theater.

I really enjoyed this as well. Apparently it deviates a bunch from the comics...although from what I hear thats probably not a bad thing. A great combo of a martial arts film and a Marvel movie.

I started watching it last night but it started acting up. Lost sound and was freezing some. I figured it was my internet at first but this time it was working fine. My guess is a lot of people streaming it. So I will try again either tonight or in a day or two. What I saw I did like. When I saw Ronny Chieng I knew I knew him but could not place him. Thank goodness for Wiki lol.
