Eddie Fyne here...LOTF Manager extrordinare...aka Mark Holter. I have been co-promoting Northern Outlaw Wrestling (check us out at http://www.northernoutlawwrestling.com) Todd and Tom have been kind enough to give me permission to create a new bootleg set of LOTF cards for wrestlers in our promotion. There will be 11 new cards created for our guys...pretty cool. Anyway, in conjunction with the game release on May 9th, we are doing a live webcast of our wrestling event from Minot, ND! Pretty sweet. There is a charge to watch the event, but it's pretty minimal (I think like $7). I am curious to see what you guys think about that idea! Check out our site and let me know!

I think it is great and look forward to the cards as well. Will they be available only through your website or will Filsinger Games also have them available through their store?

As far as I know, our set will only be availible through our website and at our events. We are strongly considering a bundle deal for the webcast...$10 for the cardset and webcast, just to cover our costs for both.

If Filsinger's site was willing to sell the set might mean more sets sold, but I understand if they don't carry it. Definetly will order the cards

The set for NOW will include 11 characters...10 wrestlers and one special ref card. Todd is checking the stats now to make sure they are up to par for LOTF. When that is done, the cards will be done quickly as the art is already finished. The live webcast will be on May 9th, starting around 7 pm central time. More details on that will come out next week on www.northernoutlawwrestling.com. The price for the webcast and a PDF version of the cards will run $10. We will also post bio information about the wrestlers on the site for the game. |
