We're dropping early this week to make way for a Pre-Order Special on Friday! It's time for another Legends Spotlight! We kicked things off with Randy Savage - one of the biggest names in LOW. What better way to follow up than with one of the biggest tag teams? Whether Randy Rose, Dennis Condrey, and Norvell Austin, or Condrey, Bobby Eaton, and Jim Cornette, or the final iteration of Eaton, Stan Lane, and Cornette, the Midnight Express are one of the greatest tag teams in the history of the business. And few promoters could help tell the story as well as Travis605 ! Travis rides shotgun with us as we talk about the team's formation, the unique qualities each member brought to the table, and highlights of their decade of dominance. Plus plenty of other tidbits from the gang. This was a fun one, and we will definitely be having Travis on again to talk more about Memphis in the future! WebsiteAppleGoogleSpotify

Travis was fantastic. He kept warning me that he would be quiet and boring, but I knew he would be a great addition and absolutely was! Thanks Travis!

Just listened to this, great episode and I agree that Travis is a gem to the community. Can't wait to get a concession stand brawl chart. Also, looking forward to seeing Todd Tournament Master in LJN art form!

Really was a fun episode. Having been internet / Facebook friends with Travis for many years, it was great to finally hear his voice. That's been one thing that is so fun with all these podcasts. I feel like I've gotten to know all these people on the boards for years and now I get to hear their voices and their suddenly a real person instead of just a cotg / wrestling reference user name. lol
I really became a wrestling fan in the mid-late '90s, WAY after the Midnight Express' time. They are one of those teams that you can go back and watch and enjoy without needing nostalgia goggles. This podcast gave me so much history and a sense of the enjoyment that Travis and others felt at watching this team at that time. I loved when Travis said something to the effect of "if these guys are against Jimmy Hart they can't be that bad."
I also really appreciate his perspective in trying to sign and features wrestlers in the game that likely won't otherwise see the recognition of some bigger names. It's obviously a dream to get Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair in the game. BUT I love that the game puts a spotlight on guys like Randy Rose (who Travis says was reallyl happy to be included) and Henry Irslinger and Rod Fenton (whose daughters appreciated their father's inclusion). I enjoy the way this game plays but I am equally a fan for what it does for keeping wrestling history alive.

Having @wildcast605 added so much great historical depth to the MX analysis! This was a fantastic episode!
And yes, I recall that they were called the "Midnight Express, Inc." in Southeastern when it was Condrey, Rose & Norvell. Great attention to detail.
