Bruno Flair Bockwinkel
I have a question... are you stilling planning on doing some kind of 'territory bonus' on future cards and how are you going to do it, BOLD instructions?
Mr. Wrestling II in a Georgia set would be TOP TIER , but when put in a national scene he would probably be a mid-carder at best.

A thoroughly enjoyable listen, gentlemen... As always! And special props to Chad Olson for sacrificing his time to help a neighbour in need (as per the post-episode commentary)... And I'm being 100% genuine... The world needs more of that. Leaving you with my daughter's favorite quote of all-time... Where there is a human, there is an opportunity to be kind.

Very cool discussion of the best champions. Nice to hear the shoutouts again, but not quite sure how Cory couldn't pronounce Valour! Cory Olson speaks many languages. English isn't his best one!

Cory Olson speaks many languages. English isn't his best one! It's true. When I have to talk to my students in English or their parents, it's hard! I'm much better in Spanish or German. I have a question... are you stilling planning on doing some kind of 'territory bonus' on future cards and how are you going to do it, BOLD instructions? Mr. Wrestling II in a Georgia set would be TOP TIER , but when put in a national scene he would probably be a mid-carder at best. While I would never say "never," if we were to do something like this, I would see it as a chart or special rule you apply to wrestlers' natural stats. That's how I've used the Hometown Advantage Rule in the past in my USWA. I used this for Terry Gordy in Chattanooga, Ed "Strangler" Lewis in Louisville, and a few others. I actually haven't used it as much lately, as it hasn't really applied but I may have to dig up what I originally made and remind myself.

As Stuart said, your daughter is very wise!

My choices would be Flair, Bockwinkel and Hogan. I know everyone loves to hate on the Hulkster, but he was in my opinion the most important Pro Wrestler of All Time.

Some really great discussion and Chad you brought up a great point about when was the last time you were able to just go to a show and watch and enjoy. Put in context that it's been to long for me. 2015.

Another great episode. Really enjoyed the discussion on the Champions wrestling styles from Hogan's 8 minute specials, to Bruno's style vs. Bockwinkle-Flair type style. If this has been done before, then I apologize, but I think a great discussion topic for a future episode would be a discussion about guys that could really "go" from a wrestling/technical standpoint that are (1) in the game and not in the game and (2) That didn't hold one of the higher belts but probably should have been given a shot to carry it based on their wrestling ability, regardless of size, charisma, drawing power and all the intangibles that go with that.
