How did no one say Rack and Ruin? Did you all stop playing before they arrived?
1 - RACK & RUIN 2 - OVERKILL & MALICE 3 - WANTED : DEAD OR ALIVE * 4 - OVERKILL & THUNDER 5 - NEW ORDER
Honorable mention - SLY DRURY & SHAYNE
* My name for the Mercenaries VIGILANTE & S.O.F.
Another great episode, as usual.
*edit* Keeping in line with this podcast, after seeing Troy's list I would like to give another Honorable Mention to THEATER OF PAIN.

1. Titan Fury 2. Probation and Fist 3. The Mercenaries 4. Brute and Massacre 5. Twin Blood
HM: Theater of Pain, Desolation Factor, Malice and Overkill
I suspect Pollux' second head came from the name being part of twins (Castor and Pollux)

How did no one say Rack and Ruin? Did you all stop playing before they arrived? I loved Rack and Ruin's artwork and really wanted them to dominate! While they did fine for me and had some short title reigns, they never equaled teams like the Gods and Gladiators. I suspect Pollux' second head came from the name being part of twins (Castor and Pollux) Good call, TTX!

My greek gods were broken on this current incarnation lol.
Closer we get to modern day the more dominant tag teams you get. Rack & Ruin were dominant forces until Thraxx & Zygon took their spots and now Bex & Sur might be greatest team ever.
1. Massacre (has reigns with Brute, Mayhem & Thunder) 2 & 3 - Thraxx & Zygon 4 & 5 - Rack & Ruin 6 & 7 is Bex & Sur and they are the current champs and could be surpassing Massacre if they beat Moog & Sentinel who are rising fast.

These are the years I have played my COTG color card feds:
2087 through August of 2090
2125 through September of 2135 (tonight I will post the conclusion of my October 2135 show)
2136: January through August
Future Shock: 2115 through August 2116
From those above time periods, these are my personal top 5 COTG tag teams:
1. Rush and Turmoil, 32 shows as champions including 1 Omega Memorial Cup
2. Predators, 30 shows as champions including 2 Omega Memorial Cups
3. Brute and Massacre, 25 shows as champions, they will probably add to this total as I am only in 2090 and they have many years remaining together
4. Castilex, 25 shows as champions including 1 Omega Memorial Cup, they can also add to this total as they are still active and very good in 2136
5. Fraternity, 19 shows and counting as they are my current ROC Tag Team Champions in my Ring of Centra fed, in fact they have been the only ROC Tag Team Champions so far
honorable mention: Sur and Bex just missed this list with 18 shows as champions but they do have a record 3 Omega Memorial Cups

Another superb episode! I posted my top GWF tag champs (from 2119 through to the end of 2129) on the previous episode's thread, but I decided to make another list for best tag teams overall... It will be a bit more subjective, but of course, title reigns will factor heavily into this list as well...
1. Ultimate Fighters - Record 4X GWF Universal Tag Team Champions, 2X Morpheus Memorial Cup winners 2. Rush & Turmoil - 3X GWF Universal Tag Team Champions, record length reign of 10 successful defenses (this is the only title reign of any kind in the fed's history to last over a full year) 3. Divided We Fall (Bloodline & Encubus) - 3X GWF Universal Tag Team Champions, 2X Morpheus Memorial Cup winners 4. Troubleshooters - First and 3X GWF Universal Tag Team Champions, first Milky Way Tag Team Challenge winners 5. Havoc & Paralyze - 3X GWF Universal Tag Team Champions, first Morpheus Memorial Cup winners (plus, both have gone onto win the tag belts two more times.. Havoc with Payback and Alpha Female as his partners... Paralyze with Rage both times)
Also want to say that I don't anything about the CWA, but I'm REALLY hoping that you guys do make an episode about its history... It sounds awesome!

Made me do math again, and I again was surprised by how things came out. Almost impossible to put them in top 5 order, but i tried anyway!
1. Rush & Turmoil: 4 Title reigns over 144 cards with 68 defenses. Numbers may look smaller than the rest of the list, but they were overwhelmingly dominant in their era. 51 defenses in 1 reign is the most ever. 2. Desolation Factor: 6 time champs, 265 cards with 63 defenses. Longest reign ever with 163 cards, although in an era where i didn't have the belts defended quite as often as Rush & Turmoil did. 3. Thunder & Overkill: 8 tag reigns, 148 cards with 45 defenses. 2 Filsinger Cup wins. 4. Twin Blood: 6 time champs, 154 cards/32 defenses. My memory had them even more dominant than they actually were. I had them together long before Tom did. Twin Blood also won 3 straight Filsinger Cup tag tourneys. 5. Brute & Massacre: 5 tag reigns, 163 cards/53 defenses, back to back Filsinger Cup champs. HM: Greek Gods 7/103/30, Master Race 5/83/38, Rebel Empire 8/79/30
