I watched this movie on Roku as part of a 13 part series Elvira did a few years back. It was a cheesy movie but actually pretty entertaining. In the opening moments there is a Millennium Falcon inspired spaceship and a Gremlin inspired creature. The movie takes place in the future on a planet where people mostly live like it is the wild west with a bit of technology. It has a decent cast. George Takei who has a couple funny Star Trek inspired lines. Julie Newmar who plays Miss Kitty and takes the Kitty part a bit literal. Meg Foster who was in Piper's They Live. Jackie Swanson who played Woody's girlfriend in Cheers. Carel Struycken who played Lurch in the Adams Family moives of the 90s. Isaac Hayes who has a short but funny role. It is not a movie I would recommend running out to find but if you come across it give it a try. Not great but plenty worse out there.
