Matt, are you saying "in hand by Christmas" or you saying "hard and set ship date"? There is a big difference. One is a date that the item is shipped by and the other is a date that it is delivered by. You stated that FG did not have a hard and set ship date and that was clearly a lie (it is on their web page that I have no control over". If you meant "in hand by Christmas" then maybe you need to focus on learning the difference between a ship date and delivery date. The ship date is the date the product will leave the supplier's warehouse while delivery is the date the package will make it to the customer's doorstep.

This may seem like a silly question, but is this going to be just an (apparently very large) compendium of special matches, or are there other goodies and tidbits to look forward to?

This is a collection of all of the COTG and Legends special matches, plus some new ones, plus a couple of charts that we felt were important to include. Volume 2 will feature all iterations of the game charts from the history of Filsinger Games, the Indie special matches, probably the POW MMA charts, and stuff that was character specific, like the Wolf Wildman Chart and Splatter's Lottery chart. |

Would have been a Christmas miracle to get my orders to England before Santa Day anyways (Although it has happened 4 out of the last five years,) so I'm not too bothered to get the Companion at a later date- especially as I will probably have forgotten about it by then and it'll feel like an extra surprise.
The thing I am mega bummed about these days (at this isn't HQ's fault) is the now huge postage cost to the U.K. The postage I pay is always much, much higher than the postage stamp cost on the envelope I get nowadays (last one was three times higher.) I blame Brexit- everything costs more!!

Just an FYI but I placed my order via Priority shipping, but I can have the Companion come regular postal if that will help. Not sure how much savings it would be and if it would be more work but if that works just let me know who to contact so I can let them know my info and they can ship this by standard first class mail.
