dave, how is "by mid December" a hard set ship date? A hard set ship date to me would be say December 14, but that was not said. I have other companions and charts to fall back on so I personally am not worried or upset about when this giant monster ships. And Merry Christmas to everybody!

Mid means in the middle off. December has 31 days. Half of 31 is 15.5 and so mid December is about December 15. A hard ship date creates the expectation that something will be shipped. "by Mid December" creates that expectation.

"by Mid December" creates that expectation. Dave, when you preorder something, production delays can happen, and did happen, even before COVID-19. Now with production issues worldwide, to think that a pre release date is “set in stone” seems a bit unrealistic. The folks at FG bend over backwards for us, offering free shipping at the same speed as what we paid for to make things “perfect.” Let’s just enjoy what we have and cut them a bit of slack. I would rather they get it right, then send something incomplete, and realize that when we preorder anything, we are really just reserving our copy of the item, when it is released. |

I can't lie and say I'm not a touch frustrated also, but I'd be downright livid if I got a product with matches that they had and left out either by design or by accident. Let's get it right, or as close to right as possible.

Totally agree w Pete. Would love to have it, but would be pissed if their w omissions or errors that could be fixed.

I think people need to u derstand delays are inevitable in todays climate. A couple days or weeks delay isn't so bad.
I backed a comic series on kickstarter that was Ment to ship 2 omnibus editions by mid August 2021. It just went to PRINT at the end of December lol but it is what it is. Waiting sucks but you know the wait will be worth it, same with the ringside companion

Ringside companion update from Todd:
I will be working during this weekend to get everything packaged up to send out early next week. We have our virtual game convention tomorrow and are expecting a large snowstorm, tomorrow as well, so I do not expect anything to be mailed before Monday. I will send out books to those that paid for Express and Priority mail first, but should have all books mailed out no later than Wednesday 2/2
