All this coffee talk makes me think that we should do a best coffee episode.  I know Chad Olson doesn't drink coffee. stu , do you? If you are looking for guests, I would happily join you all for a coffee episode! |

Matt, what are your thoughts on the major trade VGK did today with Buffalo? For me it is hard to gauge as the Golden Knights are struggling because they have 3 of their best players out with long term injuries so I am not sure if this trade makes much sense for this season as Eichel- who is also out for a while with an injury- can't be a missing piece if the team is struggling anyway. At least the 1st round pick is lottery protected for VGK.

Actually going back to something in the episode ... what do you guys think of strat o matic online? I really would love to expand my alternate universe that I have created with my filsinger games line and would love to add another sport. I am debating on picking up glory days boxing to possible do this as well. But i checked out the website and some videos and it looks neat and just wondered if anyone has actually played. I like Glory Days Boxing a lot, and I am no boxing fan. It takes a little time to get all the rules down, but the facebook group is good at helping and the owner always answers questions. |

Buffalo did well in the deal, and are certainly playing better without him. And guys i drink 9 gallons of coffee per day, so i'll expect to be a guest again. |

Strat Hockey didn't seem as realistic when I researched it years ago, and when DK Sports came out with hockey there was no turning back for me.

I saw later today that he is signed through 2026 so I think it really depends on how well Eichel returns from this surgery which has never been performed before on an NHL player. If he returns to form then I think the trade is worth it as he is a front-line center locked in for 4 more seasons beyond this one and he is only 25. But if he can't get back to where he was at then this trade will be a disaster with that contract. |
