Not as great as some of you guys but I've been to at least five no hitters broken up in the eight or ninth inning. Never have had the luck to see one completed live. But I'm hopeful. It's just a list of things that meant something to you personally and your list it great! Besides, Pete and I are old and have had longer to see things you younglings haven't.

So this one is not a "Greatest Moment"...but definitely a unique piece of MLB history that fellow Promoter Mark Ashby and I were in attendance for a few years ago in PNC Park in Pittsburgh. www.mlb.com/news/harrison-s-walk-off-hr-ends-hill-s-no-hitter-c250122390People were leaving after the Perfect game was broken up...both Mark and I were telling them, "There is stall a No Hitter going"...but they just shrugged and left. Then when the walk off happened to break up the no hitter...I just dropped into my seat while all of the Pirates fans went insane. I swear when Harrison hit the ball, I thought "flyout" and the ball just kept going...and going...and going...gone!

I saw Nolan Ryan walk right by me as headed into Angel Stadium for his last time pitching there. We were in the nose bleeds above home plate. The place was cheering like crazy Everytime he pitched the ball. I actually attended Nolan Ryan's final game ever. It was in Seattle in September 1993 at the Kingdom. I remember Nolan Ryan gave up a grand slam to Dann Howitt that day and then shortly afterward left the game injured and he held up his cap to acknowledge the Seattle fans giving him a standing ovation. It was announced the next day that Nolan Ryan- who had already previously announced his retirement for the end of the 1993 season- was not going to be able to pitch again due to injury.

You just never know when you are going to be there for something special. That is the great thing about sports, every game can be historic! Trust me, I have been to way more events where nothing "special" happened, but they were all "GREAT" to be at...all of them!

I don't remember the pitcher but I attended a no-hitter at a A game in 1989 or 1990. It was an Everett Giants Class A game and Everett was the team that got no-hit. I also attended a Mariners game where Randy Johnson took a no hitter against Oakland into the 9th but it got broken up.

In 1993 when Ken Griffey Jr. tied the MLB record by homering in 8 straight games, I was in attendance when he hit homerun #6 of those 8 against the Twins.
I was also in attendance on Opening Day 1989 when Ken Griffey Jr. hit his first-ever MLB homerun.

I am not a big sports watcher but I think I may have seen Kurt Angle win the gold medal (w. a Broken Freakin' Neck!). I could be crazy though.

My question was things you witnessed in REAL TIME and not necessarily in person, but being there in person makes it just that much better.
