Day 2 recap - Got down the Nostalgia Room to set up the TNTHOF table, which is located between RnR Express & Kevin Sullivan. Not bad company! Tom had his table set up, so I talked to him for awhile too. Got my picture take with the RnR Express and got their LOW cards autographed. Talked a lot with Ranger Ross, who loved his LOW card (Tim brought his, the one I forgot to bring!) Got his contact info so Todd can send him some cards. I got my Sheik book autographed by Brian Solomon, and chatted with Dan Murphy about his new "Storytellers" book. I purchased a DVD of wrestling interviews from some folks from Toronto. I'll review it on UTP sometime soon and will share their ordering info. We went to lunch at the Hash House, played some video poker, and then it was time for... a nap! The time zone difference was a killer yesterday! Got up from the nap, met up with Tim, and we had a Minskoff Memorial ice cream scoop. We got ice cream from Pop Up Pizza, which Zeke did not give good reviews too. They only had three flavors of ice cream (?), I give the ice cream two stars. After that, ran back upstairs for awhile and spoke with James Beard and Pam Morrison. It's super cool that everyone who attends the TNTHOF calls each other "Iowa family". It's how I was greeted by James Beard and something we all repeat often. Saw Sinn Bodhi's incredible LJN customs that he now makes with resin molds. The Jake the Snake is amazing, he's holding a big snake and standing on a pile of skulls. There was a pool party to wrap up the first day of the CAC Reunion. It was surprising cool for being 94 degrees outside. I do love the dry heat! We journeyed down to Fremont and Tim, Emily, and I had dinner at the Chicago Brewing Company in Four Queens. Emily and I split steak sliders, which I give three 3/4 stars too. Excellent choice. Tim and Emily raved about the root beer, so I took a sip and it was a damn good root beer. While waiting for our food, we devised a COTG/LOW game box on a napkin. I think it will be a million seller! We walked all the way down to the far end of Fremont, to see the Container Park. We were welcomed by a Zorac wannabe who shot fire from his antenna to the beat of the music. I found a vintage toy store, so James Jeffries and I have two of those to hit up today (Tuesday). We strolled back to the Plaza, stopping to hear "Stays in Vegas" a great Fremont band that we also saw Sunday night. Emily went to bed, and Tim and I went to the Sandstone Lounge, where we saw Midwest indy star, The Mauler aka JB Payne and his partner. I had the second worst Old Fashioned in my life, topped only by last week's Old Fashioned at Founding Farmer's in DC, so I need to find a good one on this trip. There was a cover band at the Sandstone, Tim and I tuned it out, and chatted about life, our WWWA plans, my latest brilliant GWF 2087 booking, and shared memories of Minskoff and inappropriate punk/rockabilly bands we like. It was a damn fine day! Getting ready to grab some breakfast and hit the Nostalgia Room again today. Tom's talk is at 11:00 AM PST, and I'm going to record it for the fine fellows of Roll Up! Tonight is the Memphis Memories session of the Baloney Blowout, hosted by Jimmy Hart.

Here's to some fun signings! Good luck everyone! We'll see what happens. Some folks here are already in the game, some are signed and not released, some have said "no", and some will be asked today or tomorrow.

Chad Olson , remember, a "no" is only a "no" until it becomes a "yes." Or until they say “please stop harassing me” and Filsinger Games gets a bad name Well obviously, that's always an option too. Not a preferred one, but an option nonetheless. Have a fantastic time, I'm really hoping you get to hear some fantastic Kevin Sullivan stories.

inappropriate punk/rockabilly bands we like. It was a damn fine day! ............ If you don't like Mojo Nixon, your life needs fixin. That's all. Man, I wish Vegas wasn't such a long and expensive trip for me. I'd like to be there. Afraid I'd hit the casinos, win big, open my own wrestling themed gentlemen's club, and never come back home though. Eh, maybe next year.....
