The AniMen need to drop everyone except Tempest and Hyla and start over and with a feud other than the Gladiators (talk about a repetitive feud...even Tommy Rich and Buzz Sawyer eventually moved on)

A Kill Prey team with Orrus and Tarval against the AniMen? I would like a bigger CTA faction to go up against the Titans. I'm ready for Perfect Specimen to have some new art and not the 90s Kid n Play style. I don't know what you do with the Chameleon Creatures. I just never got their presence in the GWF. Either they need a purpose, new cards or get rid of them. |

I'm curious if KP sticks around or is another of the cuts. Really depends on how much Tom wants to streamline the fed.

This makes me happy to see more sci-fi alien races in the GWF. I hope to see a lot more cool races in this set.

2137 handbook teases a new Gladiator capable of beating Monolith… Monolith remains my favorite character in the game, but I can’t help but feel his time is ending and this new guy will be designed to finish him. Tom has also mentioned that a lot of wrestlers will be leaving the GWF this year. Combined w all the guys who disappeared w GODSEND, 2138 feels like a true new starting point for the GWF roster. Will be interesting to see if any big names are gone, and who might be stepping to to try and replace them. I loved The Aethran Overmaster and Monolith but feel their time is definitely coming to an end.I believe Endgame and Cosmic Woman might leave as well as possibly Godsend.For some odd reason I believe Sly stays for another year but his time should be coming.I agree with everyone this feels like a reset. |
