I talked with Rob. If you roll a 5, you can re-roll it but if you get 5 again you're stuck. Same with 4. So you could roll each once and still re-roll but not after that. Is that an overpowered mechanic you think?

That’s right. “Once per turn” as in the two * moves are not roll again moves like Sly Drury had. When you land on one, you can go for the move or roll again just once. Whatever move you roll next you’re stuck with. The idea is obviously a second chance to hit APEX OF GLORY, but if you don’t, you don’t get to keep rolling even if you roll one of the two * moves again. That’s what counts as a turn. If Apex stays on offense and rolls it again after that, the sequence repeats itself and so on.

It will be very interesting to see how Apex performs. He can dish out a lot of Punishment. But from his Pin Rating he is not that strong to endure much

I looked at the book a little during Galacticon including the back to see who is leaving (quite a few names but last year nobody left other than I think Disciple of Terror to go back to FTR) and I plan to read the book in its entirety tomorrow during my long journey home (I fly from Milwaukee to Minneapolis for an almost 4-hour stopover before flying back to Las Vegas,)

Just got my set in the mail (thanks to everyone at HQ). Couple of things - Going through the cards my four year old daughter looked at Deva and says "she's beautiful" so the New Vibe is definitely bringing in a younger audience. The second card in the stack made me happier than any card since 2131. There are pivotal years in the GWF - 2091, 2105, 2112, etc. This is one of them. One of my favorite sets of all time and I'm not one to say that every year. Now if you excuse me I have to speed run 2136 and 37....
