(I've got them making their debut soon and am at a loss for a team name...all I hear is crickets in my head).

Gorilla Typhoon: Welcome to Canada and The Show. We are live in front of a wild crowd.

KC: Ya know something Gorilla, I figured out why they are like that. Something like 80% of a Canadians diet consists of beer and maple syrup.

Gorilla Typhoon: Get out of here. Anyways, we have a great show coming up. Dude Brohan and Dark Invader will announce their teams for The Stand. Speaking of Dark Invader, he will face Mighty Leo for the USA Championship. Now, let's see who the team captains first picked for their teams.



We see video from earlier in the day when Brohan asked Arizona Chance to join in the battle of good vs evil. Then we see Mean Jeans who said Dark Invader shocked everyone by making his first pick the newest member to the RCW roster, Mad Arab. Jeans says there is no video as no cameraman would go into the locker room while Mad Arab was in there.

KC: So Brohan asked Chance and Invader strikes back with the Mad one. This is quickly shaping into a great main event for The Stand.



Shop of Horrors w/Gothica vs Bug Buster and Jobber Joe.

Joe came out wearing the same jumpsuit as Buster. But instead of a big canister of poison on his back or small cans of bug spray on his hip he only carried a fly swatter. Keith Blood and Bug Buster began the match. Keith set the pace and had Buster in trouble. Keith flung him into the corner and rammed his shoulder into Buster. Worse for Buster, it was Keith's corner. He tagged in the massive Slashmaster. The monster wasted no time and after a guillotine drop he put his hands on Buster's chest and the ref made the count.

Winner: Shop of Horrors by pinfall. (*)

Jobber Joe got in after the bell and looked Slashmaster up and down. He then started swinging his fly swatter. Needless to say, it did no damage to Slashmaater. The big man slowly bent his head to the side and stared at Joe. Then he did a Hatchet Chop. Joe crashed to the mat and as he laid there Slashmaster went for a Slaughterhouse. Keith laughed then called for Slashmaster to follow him. As they went to the back Gothica went to the announcer's desk.

Marching out from the back is He-Beast the Barbarian. He is swinging his chain in one hand while carrying a large sack in the other. He gets into the ring and is handed a mic.

He-Beast the Barbarian: Jet Set and The Thinker, come on down. We have a match to set up.

The two men come out to the stage.

The Thinker: We are here meathead. So, what's in the sack.

He-Beast the Barbarian: We will get to that in a moment. You guys came up with a stipulation for a match between me and Jet Set last week. Well I have my own stipulation.

Jet Set: You did? You think that scares me? Do you know who I am? Whooooooooooooo.

The Thinker: Seriously though, what's in the sack?

He-Beast the Barbarian: Oh, I know who you are Jet Set. Now, if you beat me at The Stand, I have to leave RCW. So, here is my stipulation. When I beat you, your manager has to put on what's in this sack right after and must wear it at the next The Show.

The Thinker: What's in the sack? What's in it? What's in it? The sack, what's in it? What's in the sack?

Jet Set: You got it. I will see you at The Stand.

The Thinker: Wait, what? We don't even know what's in the sack. What's in the sack? What's in the sack man?

A smile crossed He-Beast's face as he slowly opens the sack and reaches in.

He-Beast the Barbarian: You have a beautiful wife The Thinker. It's such a shame. Such a shame her husband will be seen wearing this.

A quick yank and he pulls out a costume. A full body costume of a...skunk.

He-Beast the Barbarian: The Thinker will officially become the stinker.

A "stinker" mocking chant breaks out. The Thinker covers his ears with his hands and throws a temper tantrum.



Dark Invader is seen inviting Pelvis Pressly to join his team. Big Boss Jr shakes Invaders hand.



Ace Arcadium vs Skullgore w/The Gargoyle.

Both men took shots at each other. Then Ace gets rolling. Skullgore looked toward The Gargoyle for help but his manager was too busy talking to Gothica who sat quietly at the announcers desk. Ace used a Game Over to get the win.

Winner: Ace Arcadium by pinfall. (**)

Dude Brohan comes out and walks down to the ring. He asks Ace Arcadium to join his team in the battle to defeat evil. Ace is all smiles as he agrees and shakes Brohan'a hand.

Video of Dude Brohan, along with a translator, asking Star Boy if he wants to join the war of good vs evil at The Stand. Star Boy gives an euphemistic sí.



Dark Invader is making his way to the ring for the main event when he is stopped by Tennis Pro.

Tennis Pro: Star Boy has joined Brohan's team. Good news for you, I'm available and have joined your team.

Dark Invader: I do not remember inviting you to join.

Tennis Pro: Just a formality. I know you know I am a great addition and were going to invite me.

Both men stare at each other for several awkward moments.

Dark Invader: Fine. You are on the team.



Mighty Leo vs Dark Invader for the USA Heavyweight Championship.

As the match is about to start, Mad Arab ran down and slide in the ring. He acted like he would attack Leo and then the ref. He did this a couple times, even threatening Invader once, but never made actual contact. He then took off running toward the back. Invader used the distraction to jump Leo. Leo fought back some but Invader kept the pressure on. He used a back elbow smash to stun the champ and hooked a leg. A three count later we had a new champ.

Winner: Dark Invader via pinfall to win the title. (*)



We see Dude Brohan walking in back. Gorilla and KC assume he in looking for the last man for his team. He walks into Pierre the Enormous's locker room.

Pierre: I was wondering if you would come around. I'm the last choice huh?

Dude Brohan: Bro, I've been looking all around for you bro. I couldn't find you earlier bro.

Pierre: I'm over 7 foot and almost 500 lbs. It's easy to see how you'd overlook me.

Dude Brohan: So, are ya on the team bro? Can we count on you bro or is the evil team got you scared bro?

Pierre: You know nothing scares me. I'm in. You need me to assure your team is victorious.

The two men shake hands and it looks like Dude winces from pain a bit.

10/14/80 Toronto, ON - card #37



As Lazer arrives to the arena earlier in the day he is met by The Annihilator.

The Annihilator: At The Stand you will be defeated. Mission parameters say I shall take the title from you. I'll be champ.

Lazer: You may be big and you may be bad but you will not beat me. I fight for all the little Lazers out there. I'm gonna kick your shiny, metal butt and send you back to the future.

Then The Annihilator swings at Lazer and the two start brawling. Lazer whips The Annihilator into a wall. Then The Annihilator grabs the champion and choke slams him onto a car. Security comes rushing out and work to separate the two men.



Gorilla Typhoon: Wow, things are starting to heat up here in chilly Canada as we head to The Stand. Tonight's The Show will have a lot of that heat. Let's get to the ring.



Star Boy vs Mad Arab.

Star Boy has been cleared to wrestle even though his loss of memory has not been explained. He wanted his first match to be against a man he was told attacked him after a recent match. Star Boy looked to be back to his high level of wrestling. This match went back and forth. Star Boy got the victory after a double knee drop.

Winner: Star Boy via pinfall. (***)


Star Boy was celebrating in the ring as fans cheered. Then the All Americans Tag Team ran down with Ball Boy. As Ball Boy instructed and cheered Sugar and Dasher jumped Star Boy. They had the numbers and advantage of a sneak attack but Star Boy bounced off the ropes and used a high flying arsenal to stun them before fleeing the ring and running to the back.


KC: Look at the coward run.

Gorilla Typhoon: Better to live to fight another day KC.

A promo for the super card The Stand, brought to RCW by Stephen King. It will be live on Sunday October, 26th from New York City. Here is the card so far.

- Team Good (Dude Brohan, Pierre the Enormous, Arizona Chance, Ace Arcadium and Star Boy) vs Team Evil (Dark Invader, Colbalt Commander, Pelvis Pressly, Mad Arab and Tennis Pro) in an Elimination Tag Team match. Which team will be standing tall at the end of The Stand?

- Lazer vs The Annihilator for the RCW World Championship.

- The Thrashers vs Stallions Gone Wild for the RCW World Tag Team Championship.

- Jet Set Strutter vs He-Beast the Barbarian in a Stipulation match. If He-Beast losses he leaves RCW but if he wins, The Thinker must done a skunk costume.



Tennis Pro w/Valley Girl vs Rad Racer w/Mr. Bonsai.

A fun match that swung in favor of one man than the other. Tennis Pro used his tennis racquet which upset Mr. Bonsai. The tiny manager tried to tell the ref what happened but the ref did not notice him. Racer was able to kick out anyways. Later Racer was rolling and Tennis Pro felt he was in trouble. He called out to Valley Girl but she was in her own world. She was twirling her hair, looking sadly down at her feet. Rad Racer hit Tail Whip and had the W.

Winner: Rad Racer by pinfall. (***)



Gorilla Typhoon: Next week we will be in Buffalo, NY for the last The Show before The Stand. After The Stand in New York City we will be in Boston, MA for The Show. Get your tickets while they last and come out and watch the great wrestling action.

All-Night Rocking Express vs Shop of Horrors w/Gothica.

This was an exciting match. The Shop of Horrors were brutalizing Chet Sky. First Keith Blood then he tagged in the heavy hitter, Slashmaster. The big man hit one finisher then the other. Jesse Wild flew in to break the pin count. That resulted in a wild brawl where the boys of ARE used speed and agility to come out on top. Chet tagged Jesse and they hit a double team move on Slashmaster but the brute kicked out. A few minutes later Chet was in the ring and in trouble again. Keith Blood caught him with a running spear and made the pin.

Winner: Shop of Horrors via pin. (****)



Another promo for The Stand. This one puts Team Evil in a good light and Team Good in a bad one. At the end it says "this promo brought to you by Randall Flagg".



World Champion Lazer comes down with purpose and enters the ring.

Lazer: I just came out of Commissioner Mr. Codger's office. We arranged the main event for next week. I will be teaming with He-Beast to face Jet Set and that walking, talking bucket of bolts, The Annihilator. I get to get my hands on him before The Stand. Heck, he may not even make it to The Stand.

Fans are cheering as the show ends.

10/21/80 Buffalo, NY - card #38



Gorilla Typhoon: Welcome to Buffalo and the last The Show before our super card special, The Stand. We have some great action tonight so let's get right to it.



We see T.A. Templeton and Jobber Joe come out for the opening match. Jobber Joe is dressed as a beautician. When they get inside the ring Joe pulls out a small pair of scissors and snips at T.A.'s mustache then used a small comb to comb the mustache. He next pulls out a mirror so T.A. can inspect Joe's job.

T.A. Templeton: Nice job. I pretty, fool.



American Heroes vs T.A. Templeton and Jobber Joe.

This was a surprisingly competitive match. T.A. used his power to wear down Danger Zone. Then he tagged Joe in. Joe kept things rolling for his team for a while then Danger Zone fought back and tagged out. Warhawk was doing good but couldn't seem to put Joe away. When Danger Zone came back in Joe got the better of him for several minutes but also could not get the pin. After a few more tags from both teams Danger Zone used boxing jabs to finally put Jobber Joe away. The American Heroes got their first win.

Winner: American Heroes by pinfall. (*** 1/2)



A look at tonight's main event between the team of Lazer and He-Beast the Barbarian and the team of Jet Set Strutter and The Annihilator. Showing how it came about and the individual matches they will have at The Stand.

Gorilla Typhoon: A reminder that this Sunday we have The Stand that you can view on closed-circuit TV at locations across the country. It will be live from New York City. Then next week The Show will be in Boston MA. It will have a Halloween theme and cover what happened at The Stand.



Red Pirate Rogers vs Johnny Kobra.

Rogers was never in trouble. But Kobra hung in there. When Rogers hit Swashbuckler Johnny kicked out at one. He kicked out with gumption on another pin attempt. It was a second Swashbuckler that put him away.

Winner: Red Pirate Rogers via pinfall. (* 1/2)

A promo from Dark Menace saying at The Stand he will be like the Dark Man and lead his team to victory. Then a promo from Dude Brohan stating as the most powerful man on his team he will stomp out the Evil bro. Then after victory at The Stand he will focus on winning the World Championship.



Lazer and He-Beast the Barbarian vs Jet Set Strutter and The Annihilator w/The Thinker.

A "stinker" chant breaks out as the heels came out. Jet Set and The Thinker yelled at the fans to shut up. He-Beast and Jet Set enter the ring as the bell rings. Jet Set strutted around the ring then He-Beast chased him a bit before Jet Set tagged out. The two big men of the match locked up. Action went back and forth. When The Annihilator started to take control Jet Set asked for the tag. He worked over He-Beast and reddened up his chest with chops. When it looked like He-Beast might get his second win Jet Set tagged out. The Annihilator beat He-Beast down then performed Terminated. After He-Beast kicked out Jet Set called for the tag again. He stomped on He-Beast's legs then put him in Six-Figure Leg Lock. He-Beast tried to hold out but ended up tapping. If this happens at The Stand, He-Beast will have to leave RCW.

Winner: Jet Set Strutter and The Annihilator via submission. (**)
