Man I hate the people in power down here in FL. I understand the frustration of FSU not being in the playoffs but I also understand the reasons why. As does anyone that watches sports and especially sports talk shows. Our Governor and Attorney General are not such people. Well, they might be and are doing what they are doing for political points but they end up looking like a tool to anyone with more than half a brain. Granted, it is hard to find people like us down here sometimes.
The AG is demanding information on what went into the process of picking the four teams to play in the playoffs. The normal time for the documents and information she requested is in 30 days. She wants it faster. I guess she thinks if she can find a smoking gun she can get FSU in the playoffs and look like a hero to people down here. I just wonder what she will think if the Tampa Bay Bucs end up with a losing record but win their division and go into the playoffs with teams that will have much better records in the NFC will not be going. Then again she probably thinks it is wrong that the NFL gives teams one point for some kicks and three points for others.
As for Ron DeSantis, he wants a million dollars put aside in the budget, taxpayers money mind you, to be used when they decide to sue the NCAA. We have homeless people because the price of houses and rent are going thru the roof and homeowners cannot afford home insurance, even if they can find a company that has not stopped doing policies in FL yet he wants to spend money over something as silly as college football. I mean, if a one lose Florida team got in while an undefeated Power Five team did not would they ask the Florida team to back out of the playoffs to do what is "right"?
