Beat Ohio State but lost to Sparty and got crushed by GA. Crazy fact: Georgia took in 20 five star recruits in the last 4 recruiting cycles. 41 top 100 players. 1/2 of their team is comprised of top 100 players. Michigan has a total of 7 top 100 players in the same four year cycle. Bama vs GA II will feature some of the best players in the country and a bunch of future NFL stars.

Yeah, Michigan might as well have played the KC Chiefs last night. We were totally taken to the woodshed. I thought we'd lose but keep it a little closer. Oh well, to go from an unranked team to the Final Four was awesome. Pumped for the future!
Don't care too much about the final but pulling for Georgia just because Alabama wins all the time.

Incredible W by GA defeating Bama. You knew something was up when GA went into that game favored. Big W.
What an awesome year for college football. Can’t wait for the draft.

So, I see GA beat Bama and by almost the same score as they beat Michigan. So, I guess Michigan is only about a TD off from being on par with Bama.

I know Michigan was supposed to be without one of if not top DB for that game. Did they have other top guys that missed the game? What about GA?

Disclaimer: Please forgive me for this upcoming rant but I have to get this off my chest.
Wow, just wow! Florida State got left out of this year's College Football Playoff. THE SELECTION COMMITTEE SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED AND ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Florida State won EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR GAMES, (something that Texas and Alabama couldn't do) and were told by the committee: "Sorry, being an undefeated Power 5 Conference Champion isn't good enough." Yes, I know Florida State lost their best player to injury and without him they most likely wouldn't have been undefeated but that's playing a game of "what if" which is a dangerous game to play. We have to go based on what the results are. Basically the committee is leaving an undefeated Power 5 team out of the playoff BECAUSE OF AN INJURY!"
As a Florida Gator fan I never thought I'd be defending our blood rival but here we are. I've been against the expansion of the playoff beyond four teams this whole time but this mockery of a playoff field has caused me to change my position.
SHAME ON YOU CFP COMMITTEE, SHAME ON YOU! May you all get a lump of coal in your stocking this Christmas!
Rant over.

Yeah, it stinks. They earned the chance to compete for a title by going undefeated in a Power 5. Football is the ultimate team game. Terrible for the guys that kept playing once Travis went down. A guy like Jared Verse was a likely first round pick last year but came back to try to win a title. Sends a message that he should protect himself for the draft once the star gets hurt. It all reminds me of my childhood when college football was always a popularity contest with the polls.

I feel bad for FSU. But as someone who is a college football traditionalist I am smiling. The whole reason for the BcS was to get away from polls and "decide the champions on the field" yet the polls are still deciding things. Just not as much as in the past.
