We're talking about the Q4 Indies release, Women of the Indies - International Edition! How do we sign all this talent? Thoughts on the artwork, the stat process, where each talent fits, and what we think of their current work on the scene. And, of course, we couldn't do it without the input of the indies women maestro, Ty States. Ty joins us to talk about his entry into the game, his interest in wrestling and women's wrestling in particular, as well as how he got his start working on cards. Of course, we have all our usual news and notes and teaser discussion right upfront. As always, thank you for listening! WebsiteAppleGoogleSpotify

Really enjoying this episode thus far. This is a set I'll get eventually - my recent order was almost 400 bucks and I had to cut a lot of sets out that I wanted to pick up. This set is pretty good - has a bunch of names I know and some I never heard of. As always, love the podcast.

Really appreciated this enlightening talk with tystates... The female talent that we have in this game is definitely comparable to the men and I really enjoy having them in my various feds... Thinking my next indy fed might feature more intergender action than my past projects... Which brings me to a question that I'd like to ask Ty specifically since he does so much of the work on these sets... What are your thoughts on intergender wrestling in the game? And depending on that answer... Do you employ any kind of conversion chart when pitting women against men in the ring? Thanks!

Thanks Pariah. Maybe if the ratings are good enough I can make it on Uncharted Territory!
Overall I don't really like intergender matches. They seem to be a necessary evil in today's wrestling world. I can only surmise that sometimes a match against a man might be all the girl can get. I've certainly seen a lot of them and they can be really good matches. I just can't get into them. They seem or feel more scripted in all the moves and not always believable.
As far as intergender matches in the game, I don't think I've ever played any. Just like real wrestling they can have their place in the game too. If I ran intergender matches I don't think I would use any conversion chart. That chart was originally a GWF chart. For LOW and Indies I think using it or not using it is fine.

Great episode, getting more and more excited for this set. While I didn't include it on my Black Friday pre order, I feel I'm going to have to move my timeline on getting these cards.
Now we need a International Legends set next!

I enjoyed listening to this episode. As I have said before, Ty States is a true asset for Filsinger Games. The game and this commuity are lucky to have him. Although I probably won't receive the cards until I return from Europe, I am really looking forward to using this most recent set that Ty worked on. The women I am particularly looking forward to are Gisele Shaw, Tasha Steelz, Masha Slamovich, and Jody Threat.
Also, as mentioned on the podcast, I was indeed pushing for Gisele Shaw to make this international set as I really believed she should get a spot based on her accomplishments in the UK.
Looking forward to this week's episode, I will probably listen to it on one of my two flights to Germany this weekend.
