Hi I was just wondering if anyone here could tell me how to copy and print bootleg cards . I'm interested in making some bootleg cards especially for the new Memphis set that came out. Thanks for any help

I take PDFs of the cards I want to print out to a local print shop (not kinkos/fedex or staples). Just a local mom and pop print place that does postcards, fliers and more. Then I tell them:
4/4 silk 111# 4.25 x 5.5
And they come out just like the cards Filsinger Games sends out. Find the place near you that does postcards and stuff and they should be able to help you. Yes, it costs to have them print it out but it's not much and it saves me the time/trouble of printing them myself at home.

Thanks for the advice Grant. I have tried and failed miserably to print bootlegs at home. Sometimes the card stock is too thick for my printer (Even though it should support) but mostly it’s the double side print. The front and backs often don’t line up right. I think it is the printer itself. So much ink wasted. Much better take it to the professionals!

So it's not unique to print at home people.

Yeah, I think the front/back not lining up is more on the formatting of the PDF than anything the printer is doing wrong.

Yeah, I think the front/back not lining up is more on the formatting of the PDF than anything the printer is doing wrong. Even when using the same exact template for front and back so that the formatting of the PDF is EXACT...on some printers it comes out slightly misaligned. I'm not really sure what causes it.

Since many of the bootlegs that I downloaded are not double-sided I used a layering process to join the backs with a photo on the front. I use a double sided 8.5 x 11 sticky sheet and then use a laminate sheet over both the front and back and those layers tend to produce a heavy and durable enough card.
I have a card stock that I use for printing other game material that will go through our small home printer but I'll have to check the weight on it to make sure and I can post that when I do.

The paper that I use is 67lb Vellum Bristol. I just ordered it from Amazon.
