Remembering Stan Lee on what would have been his 99th birthday today. Despite the arguments over what really was or wasn't a "Stan Lee creation", inarguably without Stan guiding the ship at Marvel the entertainment world would have been a very different place. Stan worked with and guided the fertile imaginations of Steve Ditko, Jack Kirby, and countless others that made the House Of Ideas the powerhouse that it became and spawned some of the most iconic characters of the 20th century.
What's your favorite Stan Lee creation or moment? Be it a character, storyline, or even one of his many cameo appearances in movies ranging from Mallrats to Guardians Of The Galaxy. Personally, I think his 1960s Silver Surfer run stands out as the greatest. It was really Stan speaking through the character and is a very overlooked classic. I really wish someone could bring that essence to Surfer in the modern era.
Excelsior!

There are so many great Stan Lee moments, but I'll always have fond memories of him narrating the "Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends" cartoon. Excelsior!

My favorite creation of his has to be Daredevil. I've always loved that character.

Pretty much all of his tv/movie appearances. You got a glimpse of the funny man he was. His appearance on Big Bang and doing the voice over for himself on Robot Chichen are high on that list.

I had just posted the video clip of Stan on BBT here on this Board not too long ago! And a birthday for him? Hmmm. I can use that in FTR, I'm sure! Here's a funny clip of Stan (I sure hope it was STAGED, since it would be too bad for the collector in this instance, whew)! Later! I mean, 'Nuff said! Todd C WTIC
