Alright "Emperor Norton" (Mark T) , I'll concede that video does make a convincing case for Koko in WWF. I mean, what versatility as a performer....and how did I miss this musical masterpiece?? But, that video notwithstanding, still sticking to my guns and I'll take Memphis Koko/Sweet Brown Sugar any day! Thanks as always for listening along sir. .......... When I was a little kid I was absolutley convinced Koko would be Intercontinental champion sometimes in 1988. Some people may disregard his WWF career, but he was over with me. The 1987 Topps WWF rookie trading cards of Koko and Frankie are still big pieces of my personal collection. On the topic of top five legends cards this year, it's almost impossible to rank them. SO many greats. The team outdid it's self and I think 2022 may be just as good or better. Austin Idol is a big one for me. There are a ridiculous number of fantast booking scenarios for a guy like that. Bob Backlund of course, Kurt Angle, just WAY too many good ones for me to list.

The California Hells Angels actually met up in Boston in the early sixties when they worked for Tony Santos Big Time Wrestling as Golden Boy Dupree and Magnificent Maurice Chevier. They were also the Comancheros in Arizona as well as the Dupree Brothers. Chris Colt is one of the more fabled characters in wrestling history, to put it mildly.

Dont have a Legends fed, but this year's releases have prompted several purchases. Gorilla Monsoon, Bob Backlund, Dutch Mantel, Kurt Angle, Roddy Piper maybe my top 5. Way to slide in a nice Andrew Karas reference - had forgotten about Dagger Mack.

Yeah, I think it couldve been a tiny hint, lol It wasn't just the word Syracuse; it was also the reaction he got, or lack of, when he said it. I pictured Mike M giving him the evil eye and looking for the mute button. Oh definetly. I think we're going to see both Rotundo and Don Kernodle in the next set. I put Chad in touch with another potential signee from the HOF, so hoping it works out. Would be a good get

5. Heenan/Monsoon Prime Time Wrestling Card. Really unique card. Lots of fun.
4. The Grappler - Haven’t watched much of his work but he worked with us on CWFH and was a super nice guy. Was happy to get him in the game and super cool to see him in color.
3. Bill Dundee - This will change but he’s the guy in the Memphis set I’m most interested in using right now as I’ve been doing my watch of Memphis TV. I’m only in 1980 so as more of these guys make it onto the show, my feelings will change. Most looking forward to watching Dutch Mantell drive.
2. Jimmy Hart in Promoter Prime - I know folks would think this would be my #1 but he was edged out by…
1. Roddy Piper - Never thought we’d get him in color. So glad we did.

Almost did but decided to keep separate. Only gave Rex the slight lead over Spot for the slim chance of a Detroit Demolition/original Smash card to go with an Ax/ Axis the Demolisher card.
