These last few years have been brutal. Everyone I know families have had a death or health issues. Seeing you role models fall or battling hard like Michael J Fox & Christina Applegate its tough.. Man I'm super depressed...I probably should not hang out in the Obituaries for a while. I hear ya, blaster. Time really seems to have flown and even more so now that I’m watching my kids grow up. Stay mindful in moments, enjoy them for what they are. I remember visiting an island in Alaska where there were probably a hundred eagles flying around. Everyone had their phones out and the guide told us to drop the phones and take in the moment. Because of that, I still vividly remember that moment. Great advice. Always surround yourself with people that bring out the joy in your life and are positive influences. It helps a ton and as great as this game is, the way it brought us all together to enjoy it is even better.

I love Hogan's Heroes and he was the last major actor who had been part of it. RIP.

Ron Watts, a former NBA small forward, passed away at the age of 79. The following is an excerpt from his online obituary: "Playing basketball as a high-schooler on the competitive basketball courts of Chevy Chase, he was noticed and encouraged by the famed Celtics Coach, Red Auerbach. He won a basketball scholarship to Wake Forest, where he set rebounding records that stood for decades and led his team to exciting ACC victories against much larger schools. He then captained a gold-medal winning Maccabiah Team. After college, he was drafted by the World Champion Boston Celtics, fulfilling a life-long dream. As a result of his teamwork, and hard work, he earned great respect from his teammates (Sports Illustrated nicknamed him "Bruiser Watts") and created many lifelong friendships. With his natural charisma, he then appeared in 5 CLIO-award-winning TV Commercials about friendship with his good friend and former teammate Bill Russell. The "Good Friends are for Keeps" series was created for ATT's WATS Line and led to Ronny becoming the national spokesman for the very successful WATS Line (Wide-Area Telecommunications Service) campaign." Watts starred at Wake Forest University and was selected in the 2nd round of the 1965 NBA Draft. From his All High honors days at Wilson High School, Watts went on to captain at Wake Forest University, where he won All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors. In 1965, Watts captained the gold medal-winning U.S. team in Tel Aviv, Israel, at the Maccabiah Games. Shortly after, Watts joined the Boston Celtics in 1965-66 for its record setting 8th straight World Championship season. Injuries forced Watts to retire from the Celtics.
