Anyone else watching Peacemaker on HBO Max? If so, what do you think of it?
I saw the first 3 episodes which all dropped on Thursday. So far I have enjoyed this series.

I watched the first three over the past two days. A little silly but nothing too objectionable so far.
If I have one complaint it's that they really need to work on the characterization of Vigilante so it doesn't come off so much as a poor man's Deadpool. The actor even slips into a Ryan Reynolds delivery with the lines at times.

I enjoyed it so far. Its pretty funny and disturbing, very reminiscent of Deadpool's style. The opening dance number is fantastic!

We watched the first four episodes last night. We're enjoying it, but I agree that Vigilante seems a little too silly.

Just binged what's out, I have laughed twice really hard. So far I really like it. Kind of surprised they used Vigilante as the comedy foil and not someone who was so dark in the comics. But I'm ok with it. I don't really get the Deadpool comparison, Deadpool was so very tongue in cheek, fourth wall breaking chaos. Which I absolutely loved. This is different for me. The supporting cast has a lot more upside and I really want to find out what is going on with the Butterflies. So far I'm glad I've renewed my HBOMax.

This show is nothing short of absolute brilliance! And it has the GREATEST opening sequence I have ever witnessed!

I absolutely loved this show. This was coming out the same time as Book of Boba Fett and I was looking forward to this more each week than Boba.
James Gunn is fantastic at the combo of humor and violence. Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite MCU movie. Cena absolutely killed the role, and I think this brings him to the next level in action and comedy roles. Lots of fun characters but I think my favorites are Vigilante and Eagley. Very happy they get a season 2.
The opening dance sequence just put it over the top. I wonder what they do for a season 2 opening sequence.
