Hello, promoters! We are back, and so is Mike! That's right, the triumphant trio is reunited for an episode dedicated to one of our favorite legends - and that might be an understatement. Todd's got news about the upcoming Perennial, including some info on the special guest, Les Thatcher, and Mike gives us a quick update on the Ringside Companion. Then we dive into our main event. We provide an overview of Piper's upbringing, separating fact from myth on breaking into the business, his early days in the territories. Then we spend a fair bit of time on the most pivotal period of Piper's early career - Southern California. Of course, we talk a little about Portland, Georgia, and Mid Atlantic on our journey to the WWF and his WCW days. Peppered in are our favorite Piper moments, matches, and memories. We also see the return of the LEGO Corner, and Todd has the urge to answer a question from the recent Uncharted Territory AUA! And remember, just when you think you know the answers, we're bound to change the questions! John Carpenter said that line came from Piper's "notebook" and was not in the original script.

Great Spotlight episode on the Rowdy one. Loved learning about his time in California. Did not know much about that time. Looking forward to the Perennial and the eventual arrival of the Ringside Companion. I know it will be worth the wait

I have to agree with Mike, Chik Fil A is the best. We have it about it once every two weeks.

I started listening to this episode tonight. As I mentioned on Roll Up a couple of weeks ago, I was fortunate to meet Piper a few times. Here is a photo of me, Piper, Orndorff, and Orton 11 years ago at Wrestle Reunion:

I always have to tell Todd that I have FOUR Chick Fil A's literally five minutes from my house each way. It's a complaint I dont have, lol
Todd also mentioned Cook Out. Thats my wifes fav fast food and recently Cornette was talking about loving it, but the closet one is in Richmond, KY, which is about 1.5 hour from Lousville. We were talking on the phone the other day about a project and I told him I couldn't believe he didn't know there was one in Frankfort, KY, which is only about a 45 minute drive from Louisville. He had never known....but I highly sugget Cook Out. Good food and its CHEAP!!! And I mean....CHEAP!!!!
