It looks like Las Vegas might be getting a MLS team as Major League Soccer has entered into an exclusive negotiating session with billionaires Wes Edens and Naseef Sawaris to make Las Vegas the home of the 30th MLS franchise (there are currently 27 MLS franchises but Charlotte starts its franchise this year St. Louis stars its franchise in 2023.)
Las Vegas defeated both Phoenix and San Diego for a chance to get the 30th MLS franchise.
Edens and Swaris have already trademarked the name Las Vegas Villains.
I will definitely be a Villains fan if this happens which now seems likely.
