Okay, since this came up in another thread, does anyone know why Renegade's 87 card had a -1 agility and +1 power. He certainly looked like a powerhouse and I think his moves reflected.
Also, why Wildcat's 97 card has (I believe) a +4 agility (it may have been a +3, don't have the card in front of me). I find it hard to believe a guy with a +4/+3 agility could perform the WILDCAT STRIKE.
I always assumed, during printing, the agility and power were mixed up on Renegade and a + was put instead of a - for Wildcat
Anyone else wonder about these?

I'm not sure Wildcat was supposed to have a - agility but I think there's a chance the power and agility might have been reversed

I think Wildcat was just supposed to suck honestly.
As far as Renegade. There are plenty of agility based wrestlers that are built. Look at Low Ki. Now imagine the only reference you had for Low Ki was a card that didn't really show his height or weight and he had a bunch of striking moves. You might be as equally as surprised to learn he's a really small wrestler.

Could be his thinking (Renegade) when the card was made And I agree, I don't think Wildcat was supposed to be good...but for a guy who had that finisher, I don't see a guy witha +3 or +4 pulling that one off.

Wildcat's agility rating always really confused me. It made no sense to have a guy who was rated as being about as agile as Mutant doing all of those high-flying moves!
It took some getting used to to think that the guy with the huge traps was actually more agile than powerful, but it wasn't that big of a stretch. If you look at it Actagon is another guy who's drawing doesn't match his stats, too. He looks more lithe with sort of thin arms, but he's got -2 power. I can get over those more than a guy who's moves don't seem to match his stats.
