WWE 2022 ROYAL RUMBLE PICKEMS

I don't watch current WWE much at all, but decided to catch this since I always like the RUmble.

That was terrible.

The women's Rumble looked like someone put time and effort into putting it together. Felt like a good, fun Rumble.
The men's match was awful. No surprises, the guys who should have looked strong got treated like nerds, the finish was never in doubt from the moment the Brock match ended. It was the most "paint by numbers" Royal Rumble I've ever seen and made me LESS interested in Wrestlemania. Which is really no easy feat.

When I was a kid, once guys like Chaos and Spike won the GWF title a few times, I always booked them in big matches at Galactamania against other big names - no belt needed to get those matches over. This allowed guys like Raven and Holocaust to rise up and become big stars in my fed too.

I feel like Brock is way beyond the belt at this point. Doesn’t need it. And his feud w Reigns is personal enough that you could do it without the title. I like Lashley as champ.
