Art is incredible. Should be a fun card to use. Wait till you see the art for the Fred Blassie card. It's a real doozy. The above is a deft combination of rumor mongering and wishful thinking, if I do say so myself.😎

Okay here’s a question. What exactly is his Mormon Swing? For his B&W card, it was described as a spinning backbreaker. I looked it up but all I found were mentions that it was either a spinning full nelson or giant swing. Problem is both moves are on his old card.
I used to imagine it as a twirl a whirl slam, since that’d be a cool move for someone his size, but I wanted to know what it officially was.

I've always heard it in reference to his Spinning Full Nelson.

By the '70s, it was sort of a whirlybird backbreaker a la Sid Vicious, but not with the crazy high-impact throw. He'd either hold it for a submission or just drop them and pin them.

This is the move that the LOW team had in mind for the Mormon Swing. Perhaps the other moves were called that in other territories or eras but this is what his B&W card finisher is supposed to be.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, that move puts a smile on my face. Though we generally don’t call ourselves Mormons anymore (preferring the above mouthful these days), the name for this move still pops me.

youtu.be/i-M1uQOng6MYou need to watch around Minute 12. That really looks horrible, thinking about the strain on the neck. But better watch the whole match. It is worth it 🙂
