I could’ve swore there was a tentative date listed for this years con, now I can’t find it. Is it still happening? Still in Chicago?

Honestly with so much to do in the Midwest - ProWrestling Tees brick and mortar location (Chicago), Wrigley Field (Chicago), Nuts on Clark (Chicago), Revolution Brewery (Chicago), National Bobblehead Museum (Milwaukee), Lambeau Field (Green Bay), Miller Park (Milwaukee), The Mecca (Milwaukee), too many breweries to name (Wisconsin), The John Deere Museum (Waterloo) and more, a week’s vacation in the Midwest wouldn’t be the worst idea ever.

if I had the money, I'd hit both and do some stuff in the surrounding areas just because I never have.

Yeah, ideally, I will go to both this year again but I won't know for sure if it is possible until after the start of Summer. I am going to start saving money for this trip after I return from Mania Weekend in Dallas. But it is not just finances that might prevent me from attending both events this year as, for example, it looks I have to take a class to retain my work license and that could prevent me from being gone for 10 days. But I am sure I will do at least 1 of the 2 weekend events.

It would be cool to make one of these one of these days. Right now, any plans are on hold waiting for a co-worker to get in for knee surgery. She was supposed to have it in early December. Then it got postponed to this week only to have it postponed last week. No date yet. Hopefully she gets in and done before then but who knows.

The good news is, at least for GCON there are direct flights literally from everywhere to Chicago - either Midway or O’Hare. Atlanta might be the only place with more direct flights.

Philly is a smaller airport than O’Hare, so flights are more expensive.
