I finally started looking at flights for G'Con. I'm flying to San Francisco next month for less money than it's costing for a current ticket to Chicago from Philly, so I'll keep an eye on how things shake out in the weeks to come. Using Kayak, I was able to find flights for less than $400. Where are you looking that it flights from Philly to SF are cheaper than that? |

I am finding flights from Las Vegas to Chicago for Galacticon for as low as $150 to $200. I have not booked it yet though because I don't know yet if I am arriving on Thursday or Friday.

Well, I booked by flight. So, baring anything going down in July that makes me change my plans I will be in Chicago for my first G-Con.

The best corned beef and pastrami sandwich I have ever had. sounds good, I should know my schedule for sure by early June No worries - I figure I'm going either way - we'll be arriving to Chicago at about 8:00 p.m. I would assume Thursday night - and we may stop at Evanston before driving to the hotel. It is definitely worth it, trust me  |
