Oh so it is 80s mania with COTG guys. Maybe more of the 80s mania guys will get card releases too on back of this. I liked those packs and there were still cool characters that coud of been added. I thought it all ended a little abruptly.

I think using the card images looks really terrible. I don't personally care for this product, but if they really want to bring outsiders in... it will need to be cleaned up and consistent... or it looks like random boxes fighting. That won't bring anybody in.

Also, fix Online first.

When Matthew and I heard the name Chris Osk announced in connection with this app, we just looked at each other and both felt gut punched. The same Chris Osk, that trashed online on his way out in a tantrum?!? Are you kidding us?!? Online still suffers from this to this day, not to mention it's still not up to date in the wiki and other areas. You want us to buy an app created by a guy that destroyed cotg online, seriously?!? Now, I heard several people discussing their displeasure with this at Galacticon and they shall remain nameless, unless they want to speak up here - it's up to you promoter. I fully expect to be left alone twisting in the wind here, but that's ok because I KNOW I'm not alone in my feelings.

I know very little to none of the way the sausage is made here or all the people working in the back to give us this great project. But if a guy that left working for the company and left online in shape less than it could be wants me to spend money on his product it is not going to happen. Thanks for sharing a bit of the behind the scenes, at least as it is to me, info. Good luck to their company but I am happy spending my money right here. Lots and lots of my money. <sigh>

What’s even more annoying about the cotg online wiki situation is that i offered to help for literal nothing. Considering I’m an avid fan and have an education in internet and web design you’d think it would have been a no brainer. Instead you bring back a guy who people openly trash talked at the same convo I offered to help in. Also in regards to this mobile game, this style is dumb and looks even dumber. Trying to bring in new fans to boost sales and make things more mainstream when the main convention of the year caters to the online crowd. I even got forgot about and lost in the hardcore tournament in person! Pretty great feeling when you don’t even get to really partake in the cup. More or less annoyed with the whole situation. Needless to say I will not participate in the new game and delusions of grandeur for a IP where the creator doesn’t even come to the convention. Rant over. 😂
